"I just returned from a 2 week stay. I didn't want to leave this darling cottage! The new pergola on the patio adds a secluded place to spend afternoons with a good book or glass of wine. Loved the closeness to Seal Beach and the Pier. A 4 minute walk took me to the charming downtown which is complete with shopping, casual dining and great coffee shops. The friendly residents greet everyone on the street and I chatted with many of them! I loved walking everywhere, including to the midtown green park with benches and a picnic area. The beach bicycle was great for long and short rides as well which was challenging at first ;-)) ! There are beach chairs, umbrellas and kites included. Friends visited me from the "desert" (Palm Springs and Indio). They all fell in love with the town and plan on returning to vacation. I hope to return to this special cottage soon!"

"My family came from Michigan to visit. We loved the house; it has everything plus a lot of very kid friendly toys and movies and other things. The house is so close to everything in Seal Beach. The owner is great and very welcoming. We enjoyed the home, the town, and had a great vacation all around."

"We often travel to Southern California but this was the first time we stayed at Seal Beach and at the Pineapple Cottage- it was amazing to stay here. The cottage is absolutely wonderful and was so perfect for our family. Our 11 year-old twin daughters took surf lessons at the beach and we would walk there every morning. Afterwards, we would eat in one of the many restaurants on Main street before walking back to the cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and so sweet- it made our vacation that much more lovely. I cannot recommend enough."

"My family and I rented Susan's house the first weekend in December 2014. We attended my father's 'celebration of life' party. This was not a happy occasion. My brothers and I live in different states and we didn't want a hotel because we truly needed a peaceful place we could relax together. This house was amazing. It offered us a formal dining room to do business and share meals with visiting guests- relaxing family rooms- large kitchen- lots of balcony's and private areas to hangout and chat and large sleeping areas. A garage full of bikes/helmets and a nearby path, we ended up taking a long bike ride together. Not something we planned but so happy to have had the opportunity. The beach is right outside the door and we walked to watch other family members (who rented a nearby house) take surf lessons. A nice surprise was the Seal Beach Xmas Parade that we walked to on Saturday night. The community is truly adorable. I see why my dad loved Seal Beach so much. Though other family members rented nearby houses and hotel rooms, they always wanted to meet at our house because it was the best and biggest! We look forward to spending time together at Susan's house again- next time under better circumstances. We got really lucky choosing this house over others in the area. Susan was so easy to work with too. Staying at this house made a very difficult time in our lives easier to handle. Thank you Susan!"
