"Short of being located directly on the beach you could not beat the location of this condo. Everything on the pier and in downtown were within a short walking distance. We parked our car in one of the 2 assigned spots and only used it once during the week stay. Views from the windows were great. We really loved the sunset view from the deck and the living area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, galssware, coffee pot, toaster, microwave and silverware. The owners were always available if needed. This was a nice quiet complex with some year round residents, so I wouldn't advise bringing a noisy or rowdy group. Our teenager enjoyed the Wi Fi. The pictures from the website are very accurate so you will not be disappointed. This was a nice family condo with comfortable furnishings and everything you would need as if it were your own vacation home."

"Me and my fiancee rented this cottage with our parents to enjoy a nice time together before getting married. It was the perfect fit. Wire cottage definitely has beautiful simplistic rustic charm and is spacious. Located in a slightly secluded property (because of trees surrounding property) in a quiet neighborhood, this is ideal for privacy and relaxation. The cottage is very close to the beach, five minute walk or less. Also, there is a supermarket just down the street. Laguna is a great place to stay if you are interested in art. There are numerous galleries along the streets and in downtown. It is about a 2-5 min drive downtown, and maybe around 20 minutes to walk depending on speed. There are a lot of nice beaches to go to in the surrounding area. Laguna has a nice relaxed vibe but is also vibrant and busy on weekends. The cottage itself: the kitchen was well equipped and even had extra seasoning available to use. The deck is awesome----> good weather, nice views, and a bbq:) The shower was great. Hot water worked well. No problems with any amenities and had everything you probably will need. There was a wi-fi code. The lock box for the keys was easy and convenient. We really did not need to contact the property manager or owner during the stay. If you like privacy and a low-key place that is like your own for a fair price then this is def. the place to come. Also as a plus, it was cool to see the before photos on the wall of when the cottage was the only building built on the surrounding land. Also, nice to see the original owner's photos on the wall. They even have an unpublished manuscript copy of one of Mr. Wire's works. I love books and was happy this was a originally a writer's cottage so this was an added charm for me. My entire family enjoyed their stay. We would definitely stay again if given the opportunity and would recommend it as a place to stay to our family and friends."

Everything You Need for a Pleasant Stay in Southern California!
"We enjoyed our stay at Stan & Alexis' place immensely! My husband and I were relocating for a new job and had lots of things to coordinate: sell our house, pack our house, hire movers, purge, find temporary housing, find a new home, move again... I had been looking into corporate housing (as part of our relocation package) but the rates were outrageous and were going to wipe out more than half of our budget. Luckily, I found Stan on VRBO! He worked with us and did everything he could to make this part of our journey very smooth. I was immediately relieved after I spoke with Stan and I just knew everything else would work out. Having that peace of mind, helped us in our search for a new home and once we did, we were able to extend our stay a few more days, when escrow got delayed an extra week. As everyone has already mentioned, the place is very central to most attractions, it is stocked up and it is quite spacious for a bigger family. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is great if you're sharing the space. The neighborhood has a community pool and tot lot, so if you have small children, you can have a great time without leaving the area. We fell in love with the community so much that we ended up buying our new home there! We highly recommend Stan & Alexis!"

"Beautifully appointed condo in San Clemente. It was extremely clean and the newly renovated kitchen is wonderful. As others have mentioned, it is a great location - close to cafes and shops and walking distance to the beach (although you have to climb a very steep hill on the way back so if you are carrying items and/or little ones it's better to drive, in my opinion). The designated parking in front of the condo is a big plus!
The downside to the location is the condo is on one of THE main streets in San Clemente, so there is a fair amount of traffic (esp on weekends), which can be disturbing since the windows are always open to allow for the cross breeze to cool the condo.
Also, during our stay I sent inquiries to the owners on several occasions and they always responded very quickly. Overall, we had an excellent experience and enjoyed our stay at the condo."
