  • Wonderful Two Weeks in San Clemente

"My two children and I had a terrific two week stay in this beach apartment. The apartment was very clean with cute beach decorations. It included a nice selection of dishes and pots/pans so we could make most of our meals at home - a plus when traveling with children. The apartment also included great beach towels and sand toys which unbelievably I forgot. The wifi was excellent so we could stream movies/shows in the evening. The apartment in within walking distance to the beach and pier even when packed with all necessary beach gear/bags. It also is close to Del Mar and all the shops and restaurants. The owners are incredibly nice and take good care of the building. They are there often to make sure the property is clean. They also are very good about responding and sending emails and info. We look forward to returning next summer! Great summer in San Clemente!"

  • Great Locale

"This is a lovely, fairly recently developed area of Dana Point. The unit is ideally situated for its view to sea and access to the beach. The owners provide plenty of beach equipment and towels for full enjoyment of the close-by recreation. There are a couple of delayed maintenance issues that made our stay just less than the perfect five stars - top complaint: a very difficult and sticky bolt on the front door lock. An un-useable patio grill (broken ignition lighter & uncleaned) was a real disappointment when we came home with fish to grill; happily, the oven broiler saved the meal. Unexpectedly, the condo was missing a Guest Book - either one with recommendations for the best local eateries and attractions or another for guests to sign and leave special words about their stay. All that notwithstanding, we had a wonderful week for our family reunion and enjoyed the best weather that the Continental US had to offer anywhere!"

  • Laguna Woods Condo

"My wife and I stayed in Laguna Woods for 2 months ( Feb and March 2014 ) This 2 bed / 2 bath condo proved to be very good for us . The owner was very cooperative in meeting our needs . The unit was in a good location within the very large , multi - gated Laguna Woods community . Access to amenities such as nearby Rec. Center , golf course , and Supermarkets was excellent . The unit was well organized and kitchen had everything we needed to cook . Bedrooms and Bathrooms were roomy and comfortable . Communal washer and dryer room was nearby functioned well . Upon arrival we found the condo clean and ready to go . Laguna Woods is very well organized with many clubs and activities to enjoy. We recommend this rental and area and we plan on returning ."

  • Perfect for a quiet getaway!

"What a beautiful home! Comfortable, clean, well-furnished, and perfect for an individual, a mature couple’s destination or a quiet girl’s weekend. Bob and Louise were onsite to meet me when I arrived and make sure I was all set. The location is ideal in so many ways, close to the beach, shopping, and many restaurants. The kitchen is fully equipped with just about anything you can think of, and this made meal preparation at the condo very easy. Louise recommended a great fish market close by, Santa Monica Seafood on 17th Street just off of Newport Blvd., and they had an incredible selection of fresh fish. Having Pavillion’s just a couple of blocks away made for convenient grocery shopping. For dining out I enjoyed Harborside Restaurant near the Balboa Pier with friends who live close by, the calamari appetizer and halibut dinner entrée were both excellent. There is so much to compliment with the neighborhood being very quiet, being on the water created an incredible ambiance unlike any other, and having a place to park the car was priceless. Thank you, Bob and Louise!"

Of course, no one comes to Orange County without heading to Anaheim area to visit the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, the iconic original home to the world-famous mouse and friends. Long before Captain Jack Sparrow, local residents and visitors knew the dangers that lurked for unsuspecting riders on the Pirates of the Caribbean!

Buena Park is home to America’s first theme park and the one that Californians call home, Knott’s Berry Farm. The park has a fascinating history, dating back to the 1920s as a farm and the country’s first "Chicken Dinner" restaurant which is still serving its famous dishes today.

Visitors here will find America’s biggest shopping center at South Coast Plaza, with attracts over 24 million visitors each year. Only slightly smaller is Brea Mall. You could also take advantage of the weather at Fashion island, an outdoor shopping experience with over 200 stores, featuring a Venetian carousel. If you find you are missing Mickey, head to Downtown Disney District where you will find more than just the House of Mouse; you will also find great nightlife. To mix entertainment and shopping, a great day out is the Block at Orange, with shops and plenty of entertainment, including themed restaurants and a skate park. Then, there is the Village at Orange; it is huge too! If you still need more shopping, the Irvine Spectrum Center has that and more. Here you will find a giant Ferris wheel, a carousel and one of the largest movie theaters in the country.

It would be a shame to leave without having taken in the scenery along Pacific Coast Highway, California’s Route 1. For a desert day, take Route 74 for unforgettable views of snow-covered mountains and the dry desert.
