  • Fun for the whole family

"I love a VRBO rental that is well stocked, and this place has all of the amenities: Great selection of Coffees and teas, spices for cooking, surf/skim boards, boogie boards, wetsuits, bikes, helmets, extra pillows and sheets, shampoo, body wash, etc. It felt like home! Great location - near the beach, great food/beer (Beachwood BBQ) and breakfast spots (Cafe Crema). We've stayed in Seal Beach before on the southend of the area, but this was a much nicer spot closer to all of the action as well as a stones throw to the beach. Friendly Hosts - David and Kim had reserved a parking spot for us right in front of the apartment. When we arrived, there were fresh bouquets of flowers and local treats that made for a great late night check in. And we were here to spend time at Disneyland which was about 25 minutes away. What a great getaway for my full family."

  • Amazing accommodation in Corona del Mar, CA

"We had a great stay at this beautiful home in the wonderful village of Corona del Mar. Everything was working out great, nice house, backyard and garden. Plenty of room for all the guests and everything was clean and operative. We would like to come back in the future. So close to the beach and the PCH with his little shops and restaurants."

  • Perfect for Family Gathering

"My family stayed in this house while we were in Santa Ana for a wedding. During the week, we also held a luncheon for relatives, a breakfast after the wedding, and we used the house as a general gathering place for friends and family. The open floor plan, cleanliness, and roominess all contributed to a great experience, as did the well-stocked kitchen. We also took advantage of the beautiful weather to eat outdoors in the nice backyard. We found nearby (short driving distance) grocery stores, restaurants and a mall, as well as a very pretty (and large) park within walking distance. A Catholic church across the street made it possible for my Dad to attend daily mass. It is true that the house is on a busy street, and the street noise was sometimes loud. The house has one bedroom downstairs with a separate full bath right outside the door (so, almost a "master") and two bedrooms upstairs with full bathrooms and two bedrooms upstairs without bathrooms. The main master bedroom does not have a door between the sleeping area and the bathing area (there is a door separating the toilet). For one night, my daughter was on an air mattress in that room so my husband and I had to be careful the next morning not to enter the bedroom when she was taking a shower, as there is no privacy for the one bathing if others are in the bedroom. The owner added nice touches, like shampoo, soap and conditioner -- certainly not expected in a rental house. In addition, there were items left from previous tenants such as mustard, mayo, margarine, salt, pepper, paper goods, etc. These were all "current" (not past the expiration date) and very much appreciated. We left our extra plastic plates, utensils and cups for the next tenants. Other than those convenience items, we were pleased that the house was "empty" -- we have rented from others and found a house full of personal items that clutter the space and make it difficult to feel at home."

  • Wonderful Two Weeks in San Clemente

"My two children and I had a terrific two week stay in this beach apartment. The apartment was very clean with cute beach decorations. It included a nice selection of dishes and pots/pans so we could make most of our meals at home - a plus when traveling with children. The apartment also included great beach towels and sand toys which unbelievably I forgot. The wifi was excellent so we could stream movies/shows in the evening. The apartment in within walking distance to the beach and pier even when packed with all necessary beach gear/bags. It also is close to Del Mar and all the shops and restaurants. The owners are incredibly nice and take good care of the building. They are there often to make sure the property is clean. They also are very good about responding and sending emails and info. We look forward to returning next summer! Great summer in San Clemente!"

You could also take advantage of the weather at Fashion island, an outdoor shopping experience with over 200 stores, featuring a Venetian carousel. To mix entertainment and shopping, a great day out is the Block at Orange, with shops and plenty of entertainment, including themed restaurants and a skate park. Then, there is the Village at Orange; it is huge too! If you still need more shopping, the Irvine Spectrum Center has that and more.
