  • Great place to stay

"My wife and I, along with our 1 year old daughter, stayed here for a month in July/August. The place was exactly as advertised. The main room was nice and spacious with an updated kitchen, tv, and sitting area, and the bedroom had a comfortable bed with attached bathroom. A second closet in the bedroom contained a washer and dryer, a great addition given time spent at the beach and towels that needed regular cleaning. The location of the place was also great for our needs. There was a nice park with a kids playground within 2 blocks, along with a number of coffee shops and a fantastic bakery within walking distance. We did walk to the beach one day, but with a 1 year old and lots of gear, we ended up driving most days down to the Newport Pier where there is plenty of parking. This was about a mile away. Overall we had an excellent time, and the owner Amy and her husband were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We had no complaints."

  • The ideal Rental

"My two adult daughters & I spent six days at this beautiful house. While the photos are accurate, experiencing this beautiful home & location in person far exceed them. A mere two block walk to Starbucks?? Oh yes, a wonderful bakery just steps before Starbucks? The neighbors & people out walking were so very friendly - as were the various merchants of the local stores/shops. This was far better than any expectations any of us had - plan to return one of these fine days!!!"

  • Exquisite Property

"I stayed at this beautiful villa for a little over 2 months and enjoyed every second of it. It is impeccably furnished inside and out, with luxurious amenities throughout the house. The pictures do not show the owners' recent additions, i.e., patio furniture, new bedding, eclectic collection of artwork and decor. It is truly the most unique property you'll find in Laguna Beach -- believe me, I've looked and I am very discerning! It's also very peaceful and quiet, yet you are so close to everything. You can walk to the beach, stores, restaurants, bars. My husband and daughter enjoyed swimming in the salt water pool. They had so much fun -- really beautiful to watch while I worked hard on my tan! btw, this place gives a new meaning to the word "immaculate." Can't wait to return!!!"

  • Kathleen is a great host!

"Not only is this house in a nice location- close to the beach and not far from disneyland and other attractions- but it is very well kept. Kathleen does her best to provide you with the essentials you need on vacation. Much more than you would get in a hotel. It's like home away from home. She is also glad to help and to answer any questions you may have. We were traveling with little ones, and I can't imagine a better place to stay with your children... Daybed and toddler bed in one bedroom, and even a pack-n-play upon request. ...Oh and I must mention: the beach pass is awesome! We also had a minor mishap on our visit, and Kathleen was very understanding and went above and beyond to help us out."

Of course, no one comes to Orange County without heading to Anaheim area to visit the Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, the iconic original home to the world-famous mouse and friends. Long before Captain Jack Sparrow, local residents and visitors knew the dangers that lurked for unsuspecting riders on the Pirates of the Caribbean!

You could also take advantage of the weather at Fashion island, an outdoor shopping experience with over 200 stores, featuring a Venetian carousel. To mix entertainment and shopping, a great day out is the Block at Orange, with shops and plenty of entertainment, including themed restaurants and a skate park. Then, there is the Village at Orange; it is huge too! If you still need more shopping, the Irvine Spectrum Center has that and more.
