"My family flew back into California from all over the US for a family reunion at the beach. This property was the perfect location! Walk down the steps to the sand or out the front door to a myriad of shops and restaurants! We parked our car and took it out only once to Lego Land. The house itself was near perfect! It was very clean and comfortable. The huge picture window in the living room offered a fantastic view of the ocean, beach (where our family camped all day), dolphin watching, and beautiful sunsets. We rented the two bottom units, which were connected by an inside staircase for easy access. There were two babies (2 mo and 11 mo) and a three-year old with us. The house was mostly kid friendly and we were not disturbed by each other. The kitchen was well appointed - small but very functional. The balcony off the living room was perfect for kids to walk/crawl to play or for adults to sit for a moment's peace. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and there was a powder room to boot. The downstairs unit had a patio right off the living room and kitchen - was perfect for bar-be-queing.
The downside was minimal: No patio off the upper levels; we all-4-units shared a space below, which was cordoned off from each other. The problem was that we overlooked parties of people in their hot tubs to see the beach both from our unit and from our patios, as well as heard their "fun" roars of laughter. It was never out of hand, just there."

"The space is basic but exactly what we needed for a trip with two toddlers. The train going by through the day was a great distraction for them and at night we used a sound machine to stop the train noise. The best feature for us was the front yard, a great space for letting little ones loose and eating outside. We walked to the beach everyday, multiple times and walked the town as well. The space had all the necessities, even beach towels and beach toys! The owner was accessible and very personable. We will definitely be back in the future."

"We loved this property!! It was very nice and spacious with a wonderful ocean breeze. It has a great view that we enjoyed every night!!! It was about equal distance to Lego Land and Sea World and close to all the other sites we wanted to visit including the local beautiful beaches. All we needed was already there so going to the beach was made simple. We grabbed the boogie boards, chairs, umbrella, and coolers that were already there for our use and off we went! We are going back!"

This place dropped my blood pressure by 30 points.
"10 family members (6 adults, 4 children) from England came over to spend a week with my wife and I in Southern California. We wanted to find a place that was close to the beach and had room for everyone to stretch out and have alone time if they wanted. This house was better than we could ever imagine.
The House: The house is amazing. With 5 bedrooms and abundant outdoor space (I counted at least 4 patio's) this place allows for lots of sun and fun. The master bedroom (where we stayed) takes up most of the top floor and has an un-obstructed view of the beautiful Pacific. It was a very romantic and peaceful place to relax with my new wife. We (the whole family) loved the amount of outdoor space that comes with this place. We ate breakfast every morning outside on the patio. It seated all 12 of us comfortably and maybe for some great morning breakfast memories. We enjoyed playing bocce ball on the private court and had a great time making s'mores on the private outdoor fire pit on the house's own sand box. It was so incredibly special.
The Amenities: Everything we needed was there. A large selection of surfboards, SUP and boogie boards for the kids. Everything we could possibly think we could need, was there. We didn't have to think of anything other than filling the refrigerator with food. (Also the Margaritaville machine came in handy!)
OVERALL: This place made a special holiday for my wife and our family even better than we could have imagined. Everyone left feeling refreshed and relaxed. It was incredibly sad to say goodbye to this treasure on Neptune Ave. We could not have had a more unique and soul-cleansing experience. Just writing this review is making me a little misty-eyed because I miss the place so much.
What an amazing piece of property in a beautiful place."
