  • Great Week On Coronado Island

"A group of 3 1/2 couples spent a week at this beautiful home on Coronado Island. The house exceeded our expectations providing convenience of location and great amenities. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, only a couple of blocks away, where we would walk on a daily basis. The house had plenty of room where we could all get together and yet adequate privacy when wanting some alone time. This was our first trip to Coronado and we would definitely stay in this house again."

  • Amazing Location!!! Perfect for children.

"The house is located in a quiet and private area, amazingly close to the beach. The pictures don't do the house justice. It's very pretty and very clean. If I had to find a negative I would say that one of the two upstairs bathrooms could be a little bit bigger. It is ideal for a 3 families. Two living rooms give plenty of privacy. Coronado is a wonderful pedestrian vacation destination and the house is located near all the attractions. You can walk to Hotel Del (5 min. walk), to Coronado Beach (2 min. walk), to the shops on Orange Avenue (2 min. walk) or even to the Ferry Landing (30 min. leisurely walk, from where you can take the Ferry to San Diego). All in all a great vacation destination."

  • A perfect couples vacation

"Location just 2 blocks from Orange Ave makes a short walk to plenty to do. Parking is fairly easy and the house is very accessible. It's not large, but was perfect for us, and had many nice extra touches (washer/dryer, a grill, table on the outdoor patio, gas fireplace). There is no air conditioning, but for our springtime stay, having the windows open was just fine. The only minor thing is the location on the corner means that there is some foot traffic on the sidewalk just outside the bedroom window. The street is quiet after 10pm though, so it isn't a big deal and not worth taking off a full star. Casa de Serena makes a perfect vacation at an extraordinarily affordable price."

  • Better than we expected. A great bonding trip for our family.

"We highly recommend this unit. The ocean views and sound of the shore break with the great ocean breezes were fantastic. The doormen were somewhat strict about no sandy feet and the pool security was very vigilant which we ended up appreciating as it gave us great privacy. The unit was clean and bright and the washer/dryer came in handy. We loved watching the dolphins out the windows as well as the Navy Seal trainees on their morning runs and swims. The poolside bar with adjacent hot tub is the best kept secret of the place with great service though food service would be nice. Daily beach walks to dog beach and back were our favorite. Waves were great size for our kids (10 and 12). The secure, double parking spot was a bonus and our favorite walkable restaurants were Miguel's, LeRoy's Kitchen, Saiko Sushi and Clayton's. With such great views, we mostly bbq'd poolside and ate in the unit as we watched the sunset. We'll be back, thanks."
