  • A comfortable home away from home.

"We stayed at Janie and Al's place for a week during a conference in San Diego, and it worked out amazingly well for us. The bedrooms were very comfortable for 4 adults, and it really felt more like staying at a friend's house than renting accommodation. The commute to the convention center and downtown was less than 10 minutes by car and very easy. The jacuzzi was the perfect way to end the day, and the beach was a few minutes by car or bike away! Janie and Al were amazingly helpful, really bending over backwards to make our stay more comfortable. If you want a calm, clean, and cool (there are interesting pictures and books all over the place) place to use as a home base for your stay in San Diego, look no further. Thanks!"

  • Let's just say, we're coming back

"Is any condo perfect? No, but this is a very nice place to stay, especially for the money. It's got a nice kitchen, a couple of quiet rooms, and a decent-sized living room. The owner is great to work with and communicates well, and it's just a few blocks away from the beach--we were able to walk there most every day. There's also a grocery store two blocks away. I love the location. It's on a very nice, tree-lined street, just blocks from places to eat out and shop. Now, I did check off that this is a good condo for families with young children. I think that is true in most cases, but there was a fair amount of nice furnishings for our son, who is mildly autistic, to get into. Even with that, we are still happy enough with this location to come back. this condo just has a nice feel to it. Oh, and there's a fairly inexpensive laundry downstairs. Now if we could just get those fighter jets to fly a little further away from Coronado . . ."

  • Great House for a family

"We rented this house for my extended family to stay for our wedding in May. The house was everything that the owners said it would be. They were easy to work with. There was plenty of room in the house and the outdoor areas are fantastic. We would highly recommend this house! My Dad has a hard time walking and climbing stairs so the single level home worked out well for him. Thanks for making everything so easy for my family."

  • Awesome Beach Cottage!

"Just came back from a wonderful 3-day visit (which is rare to find if you're local and would like a weekend beach house getaway!) Everything about the home was just as described... or better. Great proximity to the beach as well as Orange Ave., and the furnishings were so classic, yet beach-y and comfortable ~ The owner Lauri was awesome to work with and didn't even mind a mid-visit call for 'first-timers' information. We definitely hope to visit again!!!"
