"My family (4 adults and 5 children) recently spent a week here. Pat went out of his way to accommodate our large group - very personable and nice. The home was more than we ever imagined - lots of space and very clean. It was great having all the fresh air but coming from Phoenix, this element was an adjustment to make. The location was perfect - close to shopping, beaches, and the marina. We found a great little place down the street with the best ice cream called "Moo's". I would definitely recommend this property and would like to come back for another stay."

"We scheduled this beautiful historic home for the month of July. Cassie was so gracious in showing us around the rooms, each more beautiful and functional than the next. She offered exceptional customer service during our entire stay and is so pleasant and interesting. The kids loved the upstairs sleeping porch. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large Sub-Zero frig, dishwasher and gas stove. Had many nice meals at the large dining table and outside on the patio. Beds are comfortable and pillows soft. White sheets and towels are spotless. We enjoyed fireworks from the front patio with spottings from golf course of San Diego, Coronado, Seaworld, and Dana Point fireworks. Hope to come back next year for another wonderful experience."

"This year, I wanted our family to have a "home away from home" vacation experience. I am happy to say I made the right choice. The home was perfect. It is in a great location with easy access to the San Diego Bay and with incredible views. Within a short walking distance you can take the ferry to downtown San Diego and Seaport Village. If you prefer not swimming in the Bay, there is a spa and lap pool . There is a propane grill if you wish to stay home and enjoy the evening view. There are paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets for children. There is a rental jet ski location easily accessible on a short bicycle ride which are available at the home. The grocery store and restaurants are also walking distance away. We had family friends for the weekend, grilled and enjoyed the home. Everyone was in awe of the home, the views, the location and were treated to fireworks which happen every Friday and Saturday at 9:30 pm across the Bay!
Mickey, the home owner, made this experience possible. Luckily, I was able to meet Mickey's husband, Dave. They are "down to earth" very friendly and informative to activities in Coronado. They are readily available for any questions you might have. I would definitely repeat this experience."

"This vacation rental is a perfect base for a stay on Coronado. Just 10 minutes from San Diego Int. Airport, a quick water taxi ride to downtown and the BEST part is - you are ON the island where a ten minute bike ride will put you at the Del Coronado (go for happy hour!) or the wide, sandy beach, or the shops and restaurants along Orange Ave, or those along the bay (any meal at Tartines is a treat). We gathered our family of grown children there for Christmas week and had a wonderful time! The house is furnished tastefully and the kitchen is well appointed for meals at home. The lot may be small but is private and has outdoor space both front and back. Put your car in the garage for safekeeping then select a bike from the 8 on site. The bikes are in good condition and the owners provide locks so you can bike into town or the beach and then keep them locked while you explore or sun. Three have baskets and there are two grocery stores just blocks from the house. Tooling home with wine and cheese definitely says "I'm on va-ca!" Beach towels, quality linens and abundant crockery and glassware make this house a gem. The only down side is - a week goes by too quickly!"
