"Very nice clean unit. Stayed with my 2 kids for 3 nights. Close to everything. Beach, shops, restaurants and Vons (safeway) all within walking distance or very very short drive. Separate entrance through the back of the house is very convenient along with the parking spot. All modern conveniences. Full kitchen saves a fortune on eating out everytime."

"This adorable house house everything you could possibly want and more! We love waking up everyday and biking on one of the four beach cruisers bikes, and then sit on the beach all day! They have everything you need for the beach from chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, boogie boards! Colleen is so easy to work with and has always made it so easy to rent from! This is my husband and I's second time staying at her cottage and we plan on staying there every year till we retire if it's available!"

"Spent 3 months in this lovely home escaping Minnesota winter. Everything is as described and more. The furnishings have not been abused and the kitchen and linen closets are well stocked with newer , high quality items. We met many friendly people at Coronado Shores so had new friends to play golf and go out with. The views from this 15th floor property are gorgeous any time of day or night. The owner and his property mgr are extremely responsive and accommodating. On the rare occasion we asked for something it was taken care of right now. Wonderful experience we will be repeating next winter😎"

"This home was the perfect way to accommodate 4 families (grandparents and 3 sons and their wives/families).
The 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom on the ground floor are perfect for those who want privacy and do not wish to go up stairs.
The 2-story addition with the Master and other 2 bedrooms and 2 baths is the place for younger families to stay with the kids. A loft at the landing of the stairs is a good place to play video games or catch up on emails at the computer desk.
The main living space with open concept Great Room/Kitchen with extended island was more than adequate to accommodate all of us for casual meals. The adults enjoyed the formal dining room for several dinners, while the younger ones ate at the "kiddie table" in the breakfast nook. It is an understatement to say that the kitchen is well-equipped! The 6-burner gas stove and double wide frig make it easy to prepare meals.
Our favorite spot to hang out was the beautiful outdoor courtyard, a space located in between the original structure and the new addition. We spent many nights BBQing dinner on the HUGE outdoor grill and then enjoying an aperitif in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The strings of party lights suspended from roof to roof gave it a very festive atmosphere!
Finally, our family spent a lot of fun times in the heated pool and spa. Definitely worth the extra expense to have this luxury!
We chose this property because of its prime location in Coronado, voted the Best Beach in the USA a couple years ago. We could walk/bike to the Hotel Del Coronado for beach access, as well enjoy the other great sites on our side of the island, such as the Glorietta Bay/Marina and the Coronado Golf Course. Orange Ave, the "Main Street" of Coronado with its shops and restaurants, was a short walk from the property. The Ferry Landing was also a bike ride away, and free shuttles could get you there from Orange Ave in minutes. We were even able to see/hear the 4th of July Fireworks from the backyard of this home!
We also chose this property because of its proximity to the major tourist attractions in San Diego, including the Zoo, USS Midway and SeaWorld. Transportation is easy, even if you do not have a car. Taking the Ferry across the Bay would afford several touring options, with public transit and/or Trolley Tours to take you to the places you want to visit.
The owner provided beach/pool towels and toys, beach chairs, umbrella, and BIKES! We rode all over town!"
