"Amazing stay at the condo! Fawn was great answering any questions we had before and after our stay. Awesome location between the bay and the beach. Also, quick drive to San Dieog site seeing. 6 bikes, beach toys, chairs, cooler, beach towels, you name it she has it! The condo is very clean and the 3 floors makes the noise from family not too loud at all. The kids were wanting to stay longer then the week we were there! We would come back and stay there in a heartbeat! Coronado is a beautiful island. I feel the condos location lets you explore and see the whole island by car or bike. We loved Tartine for dessert! Right by the bay and a beautiful view of downtown San Diego. Thanks Fawn!"

"This home was the perfect way to accommodate 4 families (grandparents and 3 sons and their wives/families).
The 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom on the ground floor are perfect for those who want privacy and do not wish to go up stairs.
The 2-story addition with the Master and other 2 bedrooms and 2 baths is the place for younger families to stay with the kids. A loft at the landing of the stairs is a good place to play video games or catch up on emails at the computer desk.
The main living space with open concept Great Room/Kitchen with extended island was more than adequate to accommodate all of us for casual meals. The adults enjoyed the formal dining room for several dinners, while the younger ones ate at the "kiddie table" in the breakfast nook. It is an understatement to say that the kitchen is well-equipped! The 6-burner gas stove and double wide frig make it easy to prepare meals.
Our favorite spot to hang out was the beautiful outdoor courtyard, a space located in between the original structure and the new addition. We spent many nights BBQing dinner on the HUGE outdoor grill and then enjoying an aperitif in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The strings of party lights suspended from roof to roof gave it a very festive atmosphere!
Finally, our family spent a lot of fun times in the heated pool and spa. Definitely worth the extra expense to have this luxury!
We chose this property because of its prime location in Coronado, voted the Best Beach in the USA a couple years ago. We could walk/bike to the Hotel Del Coronado for beach access, as well enjoy the other great sites on our side of the island, such as the Glorietta Bay/Marina and the Coronado Golf Course. Orange Ave, the "Main Street" of Coronado with its shops and restaurants, was a short walk from the property. The Ferry Landing was also a bike ride away, and free shuttles could get you there from Orange Ave in minutes. We were even able to see/hear the 4th of July Fireworks from the backyard of this home!
We also chose this property because of its proximity to the major tourist attractions in San Diego, including the Zoo, USS Midway and SeaWorld. Transportation is easy, even if you do not have a car. Taking the Ferry across the Bay would afford several touring options, with public transit and/or Trolley Tours to take you to the places you want to visit.
The owner provided beach/pool towels and toys, beach chairs, umbrella, and BIKES! We rode all over town!"

"We come yearly from Michigan to visit our daughter and family. This year we stayed 7 weeks at Sea Horse Cottage. Paul and Lisa were great to work with. The cottage is beautiful, well kept-up, and well supplied. Shopping at Von's, Walmart, and Builders Square is only a couple miles away. Access to the beach, golfing, and sight-seeing was great. It is really a home away from home. We liked it a lot and have rented it again next year!

"This vacation rental is a perfect base for a stay on Coronado. Just 10 minutes from San Diego Int. Airport, a quick water taxi ride to downtown and the BEST part is - you are ON the island where a ten minute bike ride will put you at the Del Coronado (go for happy hour!) or the wide, sandy beach, or the shops and restaurants along Orange Ave, or those along the bay (any meal at Tartines is a treat). We gathered our family of grown children there for Christmas week and had a wonderful time! The house is furnished tastefully and the kitchen is well appointed for meals at home. The lot may be small but is private and has outdoor space both front and back. Put your car in the garage for safekeeping then select a bike from the 8 on site. The bikes are in good condition and the owners provide locks so you can bike into town or the beach and then keep them locked while you explore or sun. Three have baskets and there are two grocery stores just blocks from the house. Tooling home with wine and cheese definitely says "I'm on va-ca!" Beach towels, quality linens and abundant crockery and glassware make this house a gem. The only down side is - a week goes by too quickly!"
