Fantastic location; spacious and comfortable
"My husband and I spent the month of January, 2015 here. The apartment is an amazing combination of convenience, comfort, and fun. Others have noted the proximity to the wonderful restaurants, markets, etc. of Little Italy. It is also just a short walk to the lovely new park that now surrounds the county civic center. From there you can move on to stroll along the freshly-renovated waterfront. Altogether it's about one mile to the well-known Fish Market waterfront restaurant, with plenty of inviting benches along the way. It's just a little farther to Seaport Village. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, and stylishly-furhished. During part of our stay we were joined by our son and his wife. We found the apartment well-designed to accomodate two adult couples. The wall bed was comfortable and not difficult to raise and lower. The juke box plays CD's with a wide selection of songs. There is enough space around the pool table to actually play pool. The apartment faces north, so the balconies get no winter sun. But the roof-top common area, with sweeping views of the harbor and the airport, is available for sunning. We usually had it all to ourselves."

"My wife and two boys stayed here during the second week of June. To be honest I hesitate writing this review because some things are so good you want to keep them to yourself—this is one of those things. The rental had everything we needed for our small family: a full kitchen, coffee maker, pull-out sofa, large flat screen TV, another small flat screen in the bedroom, tons of closet space, full sized mirrors, a nice bathroom with perfect water pressure and a jetted tub—everything was clean and comfortable.
We were closer to the beach than the best parking lots at most other beaches. Moonlight Bay is clean, not too crowded, plenty of facilities, and a life guard on duty.
The town is quaint with plenty of local food and shopping options all within walking distance. The first day we bought food and wine from the Whole Foods for some of our meals. On Saturday, we took in a Padres’ game. However, we spent most of our time at the beach, playing in the water, surfing around on boogie boards, and soaking in the sun. Joe, the owner, is a great guy. He was always around when needed for recommendations, requests, or questions about the house; otherwise, he allowed us complete privacy. It felt like staying at a friend’s house—he showed us in, “make yourselves at home; call if you need anything.” We are already planning our next trip."

"We loved your condo Sandy! It had everything we needed, the property is gorgeous, and the staff very friendly. My son flew in from Seattle, my wife's son from Brazil, we left Flagstaff with a foot of snow on the ground to arrive for a warm sunset on the beach in Oceanside....a memorable time for all of us! Thanks for providing the great space Sandy and for making it very easy to set up."
