  • As advertised

"Great property. Can't agree more with the positive reviews. Owner is available and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely like to stay again."

  • Wish it were home

"What you see in the photo is exactly what you get--spectacular views, easy access to Encinitas's main street, and a well-appointed unit. The one bedroom was perfect for a couple and with the additional beds serving as a couch in the bedroom, we were able to comfortably host our grandchildren overnight. Unlike many other Encinitas rentals, the plumbing, hot water, and heat work well and there is a very attentive caretaker who lives in the building. The only reason someone might not want this rental is that you have to be able to climb stairs to reach the unit."

  • Wonderful location for families with young kids

"My husband, young son, and I stayed here during spring break and had a wonderful time. We loved how the vacation home is in a quiet neighborhood but yet so close to Beacons Beach, Cottonwood Creek Park, great coffee shops, and decent selection of restaurants. Legoland is just 10 minutes away. We also explored the tide pools at Seaside Beach, which is also 10 minutes away. With so many activities near by, this is a very convenient location for families with young kids. The house was clean and well maintained. The owner responded promptly to all my emails. When we first arrived at the house, I was a little worried about the train noise since I am a light sleeper, but I was never woken up once by the trains during our stay. The beds were comfortable enough, but the queen bed was too soft for my husband, as he is prone to back pain. Overall, I highly recommend this vacation home."

  • Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo great!

"We had a 4 generation vacation visiting our Marine and this house was perfect! It was great for elderly who couldn't go a lot of steps, it was great with a baby, it was great to cook, indoors and out, it was great for 2 Marines who got up early some days to go to work (the coffee maker was to die for!) it was great for watching movies, it was great for privacy OR for being together! THE SHED has umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, surf boards, bikes for our use that make life really fun! James & Jamie were awesome to work with and we could also walk to the beach for the sunset!!!!!!!! Loved the security of the home as well with the gates and keypads! Cant say enough about this rental, you'll love it as much as we did!"
