"We have rented this condo for 6 years now. The location is perfect, it comes stocked with everything you would need for the beach, fishing, laying out and even cooking. The garage code is very convenient, as you don't have to worry about keys and everyone can go back and forth to the beach as needed. Katy's cafe is next door with fresh coffee and food daily. The surf shop rents out wet suits and surf boards. The area is always well maintained with 4 sand volleyball courts right in front. Inside the condo you have all the luxuries you would expect. Very comfortable beds, a loft which is perfect for the kids and a back patio that is to die for. We spent most of our evenings out there. If ever you need something, the owners are quick to respond and very hospitable. We have come to really enjoy them and their condo."

"I am very late in writing this review but I knew I would have to do it at some stage. My wife and I stayed in San Diego with another couple as we had heard so much about SD from friends. We booked online from the UK having done a load of research and we were not disappointed. The apartment suited our needs to a tee, and had all the necessary equipment needed for a holiday. The views to the beach and the sunset as we were facing due West were immense. The park outside was used several evenings but there was no trouble or noise whatsoever as the groups finished at a reasonable hour and cleared everything up after them. The owner of the bar underneath the apartment was most welcoming and gave us great advice where to visit in San Diego. The Duelling Piano Bar is a must see. Just around the corner from Hooters Bar - which we consider you should avoid! Also, just along the beach from our apartment is a new hotel (I can't remember the name) and again they welcomed us with open arms. we had many a beer and cocktail there - both in the bar and also at the outside area overlooking the beach. A must do in San Diego is the Hornblower Sunday Brunch Cruise - well worth the cost. Anyway, I could go on and on - but to conclude, the apartment was a fantastic base for our holiday and I am sure we will return, and if we do, this apartment will be our first choice. Thank you."

"We enjoyed a lovely family vacation with my two adult sons, a friend of theirs, my 6 month old granddaughter and her mom at the end of April. Jeanne was responsive during the weeks before our arrival with answering questions, and her price with deposit was perfect for our budget. She even welcomed our family dog. The condo was clean, nicely furnished, had everything we needed and was perfectly located to all the other amenities in the complex (pool, Jacuzzi & BBQs) all of which we enjoyed using. We made good use of the washer and dryer, especially with the baby along. It was so much more convenient & cost effective having our own kitchen for cooking breakfast & lunch at the condo; coffee made in the morning without going out for it, stocking our own cocktails; cooking dinner on the BBQs (there's a Von's grocery store just a couple miles away). We spent hours both day & night on the large, well furnished private patio overlooking the ocean. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained. The private entrance to the beach was a nice surprise, & the volleyball nets are right there. Imperial Beach provided the perfect beach getaway without all the congestion that you find in OB, PB or Mission Beach that we're familiar with - this was our first visit to Imperial, & not our last! As a side note, avoid the Sunset Loft restaurant downstairs where we grabbed lunch upon arrival after 5 hours on the road - we were served chicken that was raw in the middle. Highly recommend K-Pasta restaurant which was unique & fun with great food & service."
