"Our family came over the winter and spent 1 week in this spot. We loved the condo and it met all of our needs. The floors had recently been updated along with the kitchen and appliances. It was wonderful to walk out the garage door and walk a few steps to the beach."

"Steve was wonderful to work with! He was there to welcome us when we arrived, walked us through the condo explaining everything, and gave us lots of ideas for what to see and do, and good places to eat nearby. Thanks Steve! We loved the new taco place across the street, the restaurant right below the condo, and Katy's Cafe just north of the condo!
The first thing we noticed was the view of the beach through the living room windows. AWESOME view!! This place is right on the sand! The condo was pretty well-stocked. There was plenty of dinnerware, pots, and pans. I would have liked to have had a sharper knife and a bigger cutting board (we tried to slice up a watermelon but the knife kept slipping and the cutting board needed to be at least twice the size it was if the watermelon was going to fit). It also would have been nice to have a jelly-roll pan or a cookie sheet. There was one cookie sheet with edges, but it was about 1/3 the size of a normal sheet. Those things are not deal breakers. Next time I would just bring those things with me.
The master bed was VERY comfortable. The teens sleeping on the other beds said the twin was a little hard, but I don't think it was a huge deal. There was tons of seating in the dining area - 8 chairs around the table, and 4 bar stools at the kitchen bar. The appliances were all new and the furniture was new and very comfortable. The showers had great water pressure (which any girl really appreciates).
We discovered the handle on the toilet was broken in the hall bathroom. We notified Steve and he tried to fix it right away, but was unable to. It wasn't that big of a deal though. Our stay was only 4 nights so we just took the top off the tank and pulled the plug to flush. I'm sure it will be fixed for the next visitor. We also discovered the A/C was not working very well. Outside temps were in the 60's, but we couldn't get the temp in the condo to drop below about 75. We set it at 72 and it ran constantly the entire time we were there. I'm sure it simply needs to be recharged, and if outside temps had been higher it would have been an issue, but it wasn't huge for us.
The patio had an beach umbrella, about 5 boogie boards, and a nice bag of sand toys for kiddos. These were great to have! It was also great to relax in the jacuzzi after the cold ocean and to swim in the heated pool. We also made use of the community gas grills in the courtyard.
We had a FABULOUS time at this condo and will be staying here again!"

"I am very late in writing this review but I knew I would have to do it at some stage. My wife and I stayed in San Diego with another couple as we had heard so much about SD from friends. We booked online from the UK having done a load of research and we were not disappointed. The apartment suited our needs to a tee, and had all the necessary equipment needed for a holiday. The views to the beach and the sunset as we were facing due West were immense. The park outside was used several evenings but there was no trouble or noise whatsoever as the groups finished at a reasonable hour and cleared everything up after them. The owner of the bar underneath the apartment was most welcoming and gave us great advice where to visit in San Diego. The Duelling Piano Bar is a must see. Just around the corner from Hooters Bar - which we consider you should avoid! Also, just along the beach from our apartment is a new hotel (I can't remember the name) and again they welcomed us with open arms. we had many a beer and cocktail there - both in the bar and also at the outside area overlooking the beach. A must do in San Diego is the Hornblower Sunday Brunch Cruise - well worth the cost. Anyway, I could go on and on - but to conclude, the apartment was a fantastic base for our holiday and I am sure we will return, and if we do, this apartment will be our first choice. Thank you."
