  • Unique old cabin

"One of the last old cabins in area, so cool that hasnt been knocked down for a big one. Didnt like some of the poster art and adds in the cabin, should be advertised as a studio no enclosed bedroom also the owners should tell perspective renters do not park below, just park on the top driveway only it is very steep at the exit and only 4x4 vehicles can make it."

  • Peaceful Cabin

"Wow, need to have a quick getaway up in the mountains well this is a great place to do it. What a find! We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin, Warm, large, set on a hillside, and provided all the comforts one would need for a relaxed time! It’s set on top of a hillside off a semi private drive that ends at this property, so no through traffic. We were greeted by Fall colors and a soft cool breeze, oh and also a few wild turkeys off in the forest, what a kick. The house is fully furnished, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom downstairs and one bathroom on first floor, very convenient. And full kitchen with dining room and a table for the family. The living room area is just off the kitchen and dining area, up a couple of steps. It was nice to see it was large with 2 big comfortable couches and a wood burning fireplace, very comfy. Felt wonderful on the cool night. We enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck reading in the sunny cool morning with coffee. The cabin was so cozy and comfortable! If you’re just a couple or with friends or family I highly recommend this cabin . On a side note: I come up this way a lot but this was my first time at this cabin There are some great hiking trails within walking distance and I was happy to find out this cabin is Located close to beautiful William Heise Park. The town of Julian is so close too, just far enough away so you are feeling very much in the mountains but only a short ride to Julian. We decided to go have lunch just outside of town and found a very fun restaurant. We went up this weekend for the Open art festival, which is different than most as you drive to people’s homes where their art is on display and for sale. Sort of like a scavenger hunt. We had a super relaxed time, thank you for the easy directions and details. Will definitely come again!"
