"Michelle was very nice to allow us in a few hours early so we could watch the Super Bowl - many thanks!
Cottage was fine with about everything that you could ask for and the location is excellent - near everything including beaches, coffee shops, downtown La Jolla, and all services. I was a little worried about parking, but never has any problem. When we did have a problem with a table lamp, it was taken care of very quickly. We were impressed with all the "goodies" in the garage that help to make the vacation fun (beach chairs, bikes, boards, little wagon, etc. A very nice touch.
There are a few upgrades the cottage could use as well as some defered mantainance as it's getting well used, but all-in-all, it worked out great and worth the cost. We hope to return again in the next few years and will hope to stay again in the cottage."

Wonderful location, not so wonderful furniture, but that's the only small problem!
"This site includes a very private and quiet place to stay in La Jolla. You can truly walk to a lot of things. Great parking nearby. Not much to look at outside the condo back door but the rest of La Jolla is outside. The furniture (although it states that it's new)all appear to be worn and shabby chic/ beach used. The beds were okay... In December we needed the heat and that was difficult to modulate. Otherwise clean and nice. Would love for the owner to put new cooking pans in the unit, as they were completely torn up. Still, would stay here again!!!"

"It's hard to have a bad experience in LaJolla and San Diego, but if anything could make it better this is the place. Dean's description of the condo and location was spot on for sure. There was plenty of space for my family of five. Minutes away walking from the beach, cove and downtown LaJolla. Well equipped kitchen for nights we stayed home to eat. This is owners well cared for home away from home and my family was honored to stay here. Garage was a plus. Everything was clean when we arrived and plenty of beach gear, towels etc. Everything was here to make our vacation enjoyable. When we return to LaJolla we will look here first for availability. Owner was very helpful in suggesting what to do around town as well."

"As soon as we walked through the heavy wooden entrance doors, we felt as though we had been transported to a resort destination. Ensconced in our villa, we were immediately in vacation mode. Beyond the courtyard there is a large pool and a picturesque garden filled with fresh herbs. At night we would gather around the gazebo bar to barbecue dinner.
Inside the home is a well-equipped eat-in kitchen with a table that comfortably seats five and on the other side of the kitchen island is a dining room table that seats eight. There are three bedrooms in the main house (plus an office with a futon that opens) and two more bedrooms in the attached guesthouse. There are several indoor and outdoor seating areas, making this the perfect destination for multi-generational gatherings. All of the public rooms have French doors that open to the spacious property. And, if you are looking for complete relaxation, there is a large hammock positioned perfectly in a shaded area of the garden.
Situated at the top of the panoramic Soledad Mountain, this property is just a quick drive into La Jolla and has convenient access to the I-5 and La Jolla Parkway. The neighborhood is free from the heavy traffic associated with the downtown areas of La Jolla.
Whether you want to stay at the house and relax in the pool or go to the beach to kayak and surf or head to the many scenic hiking trails, this vacation property offers it all. With the palm trees swaying in the heavenly blue sky, how could you not enjoy this piece of paradise?"
