"This was a primo location in La Jolla and a beautiful, comfortable condo for our family! We had plenty of room for our family that included two adult children. The kitchen is well-stocked for everything you need, the family room has a stunning view of the park across the street and the ocean. We could hear the crashing waves at night and found the beds to be extremely comfortable. We only took our car out (great parking garage) when we were driving out of La Jolla - we even walked to the grocery store! Great restaurants right around the corner and stunning walking areas right outside the door. The owners were responsive and helpful. We would rent again in a heartbeat!"

"This was our family's first visit to the San Diego area. We are an active family with two teenage boys. Our experience staying at the condo was perfect for us. Del Mar is a beautiful area. There is so much to do and see in and around San Diego. The condo is located across from Torrey Pines state park and beach; walking distance to the beach and local eateries. Our accommodations were wonderful with up-scale appliances, plenty of space and privacy, and a ocean view. We especially liked having our own garage, laundry facilities and fully furnished kitchen. The complex has two nice pool areas. They are good places to relax if you want to take a break from the beach. There is everything at this condo to make you feel like you're at home. It's a hard place to leave."

"I come to La Jolla often and this was the first time not in a hotel. So glad I chose this cottage as it is right in the middle of town and the beautiful cove. Grab a glass of wine and stroll to cove for sunset, walk up the other direction and enjoy a fabulous gelato. Location can't be beat! I didn't drive much, but was able to find parking on the street when I had to. The birds are very loud in the early, early morning, but there are some fans available that can probably drown out the sound. Will definitely stay again!"

"The home was pretty clean upon our arrival. I still go over everything (reclean) when i go to a vacation home. It could use some additional cleaning such as the sofa needs professionally cleaned. There was a man odor in that room in the sofa. There was also the issue of black cat hair which would drop down on all the surfaces. We diffused oil into the air to help with the smell. The place could use a vacuum, bc the one in the closet is a red Dirt Devil which is basically useless. The bedding was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable enough, not bad. The kitchen was well stocked, and we didn't need anything as some rentals lack important items like coffee pots or cooking pans. This place had everything. The washer and dryer worked well. The dishwasher is i think a Bosch? and it has a sensor problem so took some opening and shutting to get the sensors to match up and start the load. It definitely needs a vinegar wash as there was an odor. There was only apple cider vinegar in the house or i would have done that. Overall it was clean though. Just some things you wouldn't know unless someone shared those details. The yard was wonderful with grass and chairs and a nice patio set. The bbq was in working order as well. There is no A/C, but they had several fans which must be used, because it gets hot. The walk to the beach is about 300 steps. It is literally 5 houses south to the sand. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. There is a garage, but we did not use it. There is plenty of street parking. The home seems like an old home with add ons which is common. It has a quite a bit of potential if they wanted to upgrade it, but being a vacation home, it does have linoleum in some areas like kitchen and bathroom. The remainder is wood floors. I would definitely rent it again. I also want to say that the property manager was very prompt with questions, and when a shower rod broke they promptly had one delivered. Oh and the TV worked well in both rooms. I really liked the home, and we built nice memories here."
