"Based on the lovely photos and glowing reviews, I had very high expectations for this vacation home. I am delighted to report that our week here was even better than we expected! This second-floor apartment was beautifully furnished, spacious and airy, and had all of the amenities that we could possibly want. We truly felt like we were at home – – but in a much lovelier location. We enjoyed being so close to wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, kayaking outfitters, and a short walk from the beautiful La Jolla Shores Beach, where we enjoyed watching the sunset every night. What impressed us most was the care and attention by the owners. Terrie not only met us when we arrived, but she texted during the week to make sure we had everything we needed. Terrie even left us a new nonstick skillet on the doorknob so we could make eggs for our breakfast, without our asking. It was like magic!
We hope that we will be able to return to this perfect vacation home next summer!"

"The house is exceptional. Beautifully decorated yet extremely comfortable. Great TV setup, compatible with my media player. Fully enclosed backyard and courtyard to keep pets and kids safe. Lots of space. The wine refrigerator in the kitchen was a welcome surprise. Private hot tub. Great Master Bath/Closet. Superb location. If you love the ocean, this is the place. Great restaurants within an easy short walk. Our favorite was Barbarella. We parked the car in the garage and didn't move it the entire week we were there. Walking to the village was a little more challenging due to the short stretch of busy road, but we did the 3.5 mile round trip three times. Great town."

Really good vacation home in La Jolla, would recommend
"Very quiet, great pool access, grill on balcony, good kitchen amenities, actually nicer then on the photos. Please note: window blinds don't do a lot to block out the light in master bedroom and upstairs can get a little hot even with windows open. Friendly host, good communication. Would stay there again on a holiday."

Terrific Place with genuine Old-Style Glamor in La Jolla Shores
"So glad we stayed here! Its near UC and Scribbs, and less hectic than the shopping and museum district. We were two couples on holiday, and this very private 3 bedroom suite, mediterranean-ranch compound was calming and beautiful. Centrally located, yet easy to get anywhere, we just went a few blocks down the hill to the beach for a lovely dinner. Its a 20 minute walk and a great workout on foot. The gated compound is perched on a level green hillside with no steps, and no immediate neighbors. The view is an unobstructed 180 degree panorama of La Jolla Cove, from an elevation of 200+ feet. There’s a wall of glass in the oversized and open living and dining rooms, and the view is basically filled with blue ocean and puffy clouds. Evening light glowed from the village and the stars, and looked just perfect from the comfy 9’ couch. There’s four separate areas of outdoor space to relax in, a lovely tiled heated pool in a central piazza for gatherings; the grassy knolls were perfect for wine or lounging, and good for seniors, kids, or pets. The master suite was oversized with direct pool access; the hall and entry was gracious with a silk cover settee and lovely marble topped bureau. It has antique and international decor throughout, in a quiet palate. The kitchen/small family room combo opens onto a nice fenced greenbelt. There’s art, linens, dining sets and cookware, a fireplace, and a washer/dryer. Just did not want to leave…it was relaxingly beautiful."
