  • Family Reunion

"There is nothing negative to write about this house!!! It looks like the picture displayed but it felt better. The rooms are large and CLEAN and all the necessary amenities are provided. It's not far away from all the major attractions in the area and within walking distance of the grocery store. Best of all, it's only a few blocks from the beach and spectacular sunsets!!! We all loved it and would definitely go back again."

  • Lovely House near the beach

"We had a great week at the house June 2014! It was plenty of space for 3 adults and 1 kid, and we used all the porches. =) We walked to Windandsea Beach and two a couple places for dinner. It was a good place and I'd stay there again. The house is very well decorated, and kids who like to touch things may get frustrated. The beach towels seem to have been replaced by white towels."

  • House is amazing !! Five stars. You'll love it.

"Loved my stay! The house is HUGE, some of the pictures don't do it enough justice. The remodeling is done with great taste, makes it look so new, clean, and modern, a dream home you see celebrities having or from magazine. The rooftop views of downtown SD are awesome. We had a great time at beaches and enjoying SD, but relaxing at this house was a highlight for the entire group. Pros: -Pool, we had great pool volleyball games, followed by BBQ and hanging out in spa. -Perfect location, minutes from airport and only 15 minutes to Pacific/MIssion beach, and Gaslamp is 15 min. Just perfect ! -Nice quiet neighborhood with great ambiance of trees and homes. -Nice HD tv's throughout home, and LOTS of channels available (almost all, including premium channels). Nice surprise for a rental home. Only few cons: -Driveway needs some work. Cars will scrap on bottom unless reversed at an angle. -Backyard could use some better lightning. -BBQ didn't have propane, (but I called and was delivered quick) -Agree with the other review, the room next to pool table and dining should be converted into another bedroom. All needs is a door. I would definitely rent this home again, it's simply awesome !"

  • Perfect Location /Reasonable-La Jolla

"Our stay (with 2 young children) in the 2 bedroom condo for 30 days was a great time. The place was clean and nice and such great proximity to the beach, stores, restaurants, playground, shopping, groceries, etc.. There were weeks when we did not move the car for 3-4 days since our location was so good. We met all of the neighbors in the other apartments. Everyone was very friendly. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary items for cooking and cleaning. Our only issue with the condo was the fact that there was no air conditioning. Be aware that just because it is southern California does not mean that it does not get warm. There is no air conditioning and the fans provided were less than useful to lower the temp below 84 in the house. The leasing agent brought over 2 new fans in the first week and that helped until the outside temps got so high we could not cool the place. Then we were given a swamp cooler that needed to be run and drained of water. Well, being from Arizona, adding humidity to so much humidity all ready from the sea air was not going to work. After expressing our utter concern having small children and the warmth of the condo inside, the owner authorized a small portable a/c unit to be put into the sliding door to vent. It worked very well for the family room. In the midst of a hot season, it was welcomed. We were grateful. We were told that the owner was going to keep the portable unit and talk to the HOA about central air. If the unit had a/c, it was perfect for a couple or a family, anyone."

Village of La Jolla Travel Tips

The Village of La Jolla Vacation Apartments near the Beach

Located in the northern city limits of San Diego, La Jolla is an affluent resort community set along the Pacific Ocean in Southern California. The local economy is supported by the stores, dining and tourism. Similar to most of Southern California, the landscape is a mix of sandy beaches and rocky shores. This is an excellent area for outdoor activities with many nearby San Diego vacation rentals available.

There are many excellent places to stay most near the many activities found at the beach. Many of the Village of La Jolla vacation apartments are situated right on the Pacific coastline, close to numerous beach attractions. World-famous diving site, La Jolla Cove, is a popular attraction situated in the La Jolla ecological preserve. While in the cove you will experience amazing tidal pools, world-class snorkeling and a plethora of wildlife to view. The best aspect of this incredible attraction is the cost—it's free. Once the incredible journey is complete, you can get nestled back into one of many Village of La Jolla vacation apartments for a good night's sleep.

Unparalleled Golfing

The Village of La Jolla vacation homes are a great place to stay while hitting the links. At Torrey Pines Golf Course, there are two PGA courses which are kept in immaculate shape. The North and South courses provide stunning views of the Pacific Ocean while offering world-class golfing.

A Great Aquarium Around the Corner

Also located in La Jolla is the world-renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California—San Diego. On the campus of the institute is the Birch Aquarium, which features over 60 habitats of fish and invertebrates from the Pacific Northwest, Mexico and the Caribbean. Also, there is an interactive museum that displays new discoveries made by scientists from the Scripps Institution on Earth, Ccean Science and Climate. Many Village of La Jolla vacation homes are right around the corner from the Scripps Institution.
