"Wife and I stayed the week of July 31, 2015. Very quiet street, but it's within walking distance to the beach and some of the bars, and restaurants.
The cottage was a perfect size for us.
I would stay there again next time I come to LaJolla."

Gorgeous Comfortable Beach Home! Perfect Location! Did not want to leave!
"We woke up to birds singing every morning. The house is a lot brighter than these pictures show, especially in the afternoon when the sun fills the rooms. It's also much larger and spacious. Fun beach house! Looks modern but the decor makes it very warm and inviting, very comfortable. Felt like home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made things easy for us - we just brought our suitcases, everything else was already there. Very thoughtful owners.
The beach is entertaining and suitable for all ages -- not as crowded as others we saw. We loved walking along the beach and the stunning neighborhoods. Fun to see people walking, jogging along the sidewalk, surfing, and playing on the beach. Loved sitting on the benches beachside to watch waves, surfers and sunsets, then, just walked back home to relax - it's super close to the beach! We walked to a nearby cafe for a delicious breakfast.
The house has a side patio along its entire length, with a table and barbecue area. French doors open up from the family and dining rooms into this patio area which is great for family entertaining. We didn't have any children with us, but I can see how this would be a good area for them to play securely while you nap or relax in the family room, living room or the front patio. Very spacious, open and airy downstairs area.
Very private and spacious master bedroom and bath. Would love to come back in the winter to use the fireplaces. Lots of bathrooms! Everything you need for bathing is already there if you don't want to bring your own, including hair dryer. Much better than a nice hotel! Great air conditioning system, too!
The house is on a nice quiet street. It has a very sunny back patio -- perfect for private sunbathing, but my favorite place was relaxing in the front patio with the sun trickling down on me through the palm trees. Perfect patio to enjoy snacks and a drink or just sit and visit.
The owner is a pleasure to deal with, very polite and helpful. The recommendations he provided for dining before we arrived saved the day. The owner(s) also allow the use of their bikes, beach chairs and body boards.
Very peaceful "happy" home and location! Very clean. Feels brand new, looks brand new. All in all, we had an extremely pleasant experience and would love to return!"

"What a wonderful house! The location is just magnificent. With a hectic schedule of Legoland and all things kid related, this house was a wonderful respite at the end of a busy day. Morning coffee on the balcony to watch the daily rituals of the locals - surfing, dog walking, jogging, strolling. A glass of wine to salute the sunsets. It was divine. We ventured down to the nearby beach that was so intimate, yet groovy. This part of La Jolla is so chilled that you couldn't help but melt into relaxation the moment you stepped foot inside the house. The house itself is large and with our party of six, we had plenty of room to retreat to peace and quiet. The house is well appointed, clean and nicely styled. But, above all else - the Bluewater Vacation Homes Team are responsive, friendly and professional. It was a seamless stay from top to bottom. And…La Jolla made an indelible mark on us all. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

"Just returned from a week at this fantastic property. Myself, husband and 2 early teenage grandchildren spent a wonderful week in this home. It had all the amenities you need on a beach vacation including beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards which the grandkids really enjoyed. Home was just as described and the location is absolutely perfect for beach access and travel all over the LaJolla and San Diego area. The walk to the beach was a very short one. Parking on the road was available during the week but on the busy weekend we had to park in the back parking space (a large vehicle would most likely not fit). We had a Toyota Camry rental and it barely made it into the space. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance that are excellent. Our grandkids favorite place to visit was just down the road by Seal Rock to see the Sea Lions and Seals. We were required to go there twice a day so they could see them up close. Very nice neighborhood that seemed very safe at all times of the day. The rooftop area was fantastic for our evening dinners and the views are amazing in all directions. The bed in the master bedroom is outstanding for comfort. Nice grocery store within a couple of miles for your supplies plus a convenience store at the end of the block for quick things that may have been forgotten. We look forward to a return trip in the near future."
