  • Wonderful, comfortable, relaxing, all the amenities, beautiful view, great Mission Bay location!!!

"Terri provides a warm & welcoming vacation home on Mission Bay. A perfect setting for our family of 4 (2 kids: 5 & 3 yrs old). Enjoyed making breakfast in the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, grilling on the patio, and relaxing in the hot tub. So helpful that she keeps the pantry stocked with staples plus and the leaves items in the refrigerator like condiments, jam, syrup, and any other useful remaining items from the previous guests if they're still good - a few bottles/cans of soda, water, beer, and a few eggs for our stay. Just sitting inside the comfortable famiy room or on the adirondacks in the front yard watching the sunset and the boats on the Bay was incredibly relaxing. Each bedroom was comfortable including near-blackout curtains, as was the bathroom - the entire home has been very tastefully renovated to a high quality. Also really appreciated that Terri provides all the paper goods for our week's stay. Local activities: highly recommend whale watching with Nextlevelsailing.com - extra special experience on a schooner, replica of "The America"; renting watersports equipment across the Bay at Mission Bay Sports Center (we rented a sailboat one day and a catamaran on another. If you don't sail, could rent kayaks, standup paddleboards, or paddleboats, etc.) - while we were out on the Bay, saw a seal with a fish in its mouth and a dolphin! Also went to the San Diego Safari Park one day and the San Diego Zoo on another (2 separate locations). Fun times at both for 2 very full days. Spent a couple afternoons close to sunset playing at the beach - Pacific Beach & Mission Beach - kids could play for hours in the sand and surf. The house is in a great location to access the numerous fun things to do in the San Diego area. We weren't able to fit in everything we wanted to do in one week, but we definitely enjoyed having Terri's Bungalow by the Bay as our home base. You'll be off to a fantastic start if you book this home for your next San Diego vacation!"

  • Spring Break 2015

"The dates available were perfect for our spring break trip, and what a great home. So much better than a cramped hotel room. Janet and Randy have done such a nice job with this place and they were very helpful. Great location and affordable."

  • Family with grandparents, parents, kids

"The most perfect location for our family. We used both condos and thus divided up the family according to age and activity. We were together but could have our own "space" if needed. The location on the Bay and only 2 blocks to the ocean couldn't have been better. Bring your bikes and boogie boards. A perfect vacation. Thanks, Lorraine."

  • Raleigh Family Vacation

"WOW- Sit on the balcony and enjoy the truly MILLION DOLLAR view! The bay beach access was perfect for our grandkids. the Mission Beach area is entertaining and lively. The house is classic San Diego beach style; multiple porches, outdoor seating, great breezes and wonderful accommodations. Beds were comfortable and there were multiple added cots for your use. The garage was full of bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and sand toys. While there was only one parking spot, nearby Mission Point Park provided overflow parking less than 5 min walk away. Great spot for families like ours!"
