  • Wonderful, comfortable, relaxing, all the amenities, beautiful view, great Mission Bay location!!!

"Terri provides a warm & welcoming vacation home on Mission Bay. A perfect setting for our family of 4 (2 kids: 5 & 3 yrs old). Enjoyed making breakfast in the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, grilling on the patio, and relaxing in the hot tub. So helpful that she keeps the pantry stocked with staples plus and the leaves items in the refrigerator like condiments, jam, syrup, and any other useful remaining items from the previous guests if they're still good - a few bottles/cans of soda, water, beer, and a few eggs for our stay. Just sitting inside the comfortable famiy room or on the adirondacks in the front yard watching the sunset and the boats on the Bay was incredibly relaxing. Each bedroom was comfortable including near-blackout curtains, as was the bathroom - the entire home has been very tastefully renovated to a high quality. Also really appreciated that Terri provides all the paper goods for our week's stay. Local activities: highly recommend whale watching with Nextlevelsailing.com - extra special experience on a schooner, replica of "The America"; renting watersports equipment across the Bay at Mission Bay Sports Center (we rented a sailboat one day and a catamaran on another. If you don't sail, could rent kayaks, standup paddleboards, or paddleboats, etc.) - while we were out on the Bay, saw a seal with a fish in its mouth and a dolphin! Also went to the San Diego Safari Park one day and the San Diego Zoo on another (2 separate locations). Fun times at both for 2 very full days. Spent a couple afternoons close to sunset playing at the beach - Pacific Beach & Mission Beach - kids could play for hours in the sand and surf. The house is in a great location to access the numerous fun things to do in the San Diego area. We weren't able to fit in everything we wanted to do in one week, but we definitely enjoyed having Terri's Bungalow by the Bay as our home base. You'll be off to a fantastic start if you book this home for your next San Diego vacation!"

  • Perfect spot

"My husband and I spent a week here in March, 2015. This bright, airy and beautifully decorated condo with a panoramic view of the bay was perfect for us. Every night we would watch the sun go down. The kitchen was bright, clean and well appointed, equipped with everything one might need. The bedding and towels were first class. There was a walking and biking path outside which was never too busy, unlike Mission Beach. Ralph's grocery store was closeby and at the intersection of La Playa and Ingraham there was a restaurant called The Promiscuous Fork which had the best burgers with lots of inside and outside seating. Nothing fancy but seemed to be frequented by the locals, always a good sign. It was nice to have a car but one day we did take the bus to Old Town only $1.25 for seniors. La Jolla is closeby with lots of shopping and restaurants. I would have no qualms recommending this condo to friends and family. The owner was easy to deal with and quick to respond."

  • Loved everything!

"We had a lovely, 6-night stay in this wonderful condo. It was perfect for our family of five (children = teen and younger). There is lots of space. It was just what we needed after too much time squeezed in a hotel room while we visited Anaheim. The bedrooms are a great size as is the living area. One of our children slept on the mat provided and it proved very comfortable. Other little things we enjoyed included the wi-fi, beach towels, beach chairs, plenty of kitchen essentials, and close proximity to everything wonderful San Diego has to offer. The bay area is lovely to visit but if you prefer the ocean beach it is only a few minutes away. The owner was lovely to deal with and easy to reach. We loved the personal touches around this condo and really felt at home. I'll take it over a hotel any day! This was a wonderful location for our family but would also be perfect for a couple. This definitely made our visit to your great city even better. We loved it."
