  • Amazing Location and unique house

"My family truly enjoyed our 3 day vacation at this property. It is a unique property with lots of nooks and unexpected surprises. The property was very clean and has the perfect patio for entertaining. We met lots of friendly people as they strolled, biked or roller bladed by. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to experience the San Diego beach life. Once you park your car you never have to drive it again as there are stores, restaurants, and fun things to do within walking distance. Lots of beach toys and chairs come with the property."

  • The Ideal Beach House for our Family of Six

"We spent a charmed Thanksgiving week at this beach house: great weather, great locale, great access, great activities, and a great home away from home. The place sounded like it would suit our family (mom, dad, and 4 kids ages 11-19) and suit us it did. Everything is up-to-date; the kitchen is especially spacious and convenient. The upstairs master suite faces the ocean and it was great going to sleep each night to the sound of the surf. There were two additional rooms for kids; our younger two enjoyed the bunks. There are 3 TVs as well as speedy wi-fi, but with so much to do outdoors, no one needed or wanted screen time. The location couldn't be better, what with eateries of all kinds within walking distance up or down the fabulous Ocean Front Walk. (For major groceries, there's a Ralph's market nearby.) Sea World? the Zoo? They are all nearby apparently, but there was no interest from anyone to go elsewhere. Skateboarders: don't forget to bring your boards! We whole-heartedly recommend this spot and plan on staying again!"

  • Excellent location! HUGE beach condo!

"A lovely 4 bedroom and 3 FULL bath condo. There was plenty of space for me, my husband, our adult daughter, her baby AND our two weimareiners (dogs). We easily could have had a few more people and still been very comfortable. The unit is comfortably furnished, although the common areas furniture is a bit worn. The beds are newer and very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has all you need to cook full meals. This is an older condo, but it has been updated from a decor standpoint. Certain fixtures and features (like the old showers and cords everywhere) show the actual age of the unit. The views can't be beat, and the location is an easy walk to either the ocean or the bay. It was great entertainment to simply sit and watch the activity on the waterway. The only downside to the location is the almost constant noise from planes taking off from the nearby airport. It wasn't an issue for me but made sleeping difficult for my light-sleeper hubby. Also -- bring a sleep mask -- the bedrooms get very light as soon as the sun is up. Lots of nice beach toys and gear to enjoy a day in the sun. You don't need to bring any extras. Overall, a great experience!"

  • Perfect location

"My family of 5 really enjoyed the perfect location of this quaint house. We each had our own space, and we especially enjoyed the upper floor patio where we sipped our coffee and listened to the surf. For anyone sleeping upstairs, there are no doors, so if others stay up later you will hear them. Other than that, it is very peaceful and quiet! The bikes were so great-- we rode them down to Belmont Park. With the bay 1 block away, and the beach, about 4 blocks, and wonderful coffee shops and restaurants in between, we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend Spring Break!"
