"This was the third year my family has stayed at this fantastic home and we plan to come back every year for many years to come. It is right on the beach, close to a life guard tower, shopping and eateries. We love it.

"This was our 3rd time staying in this condo. The condo is amazing. Barbara has thought of every detail to make her renters comfortable. You really can't get any better than this. The location is amazing with views of the beach, harbor, and bird sanctuary. We are over the tourist things to do and just enjoy a relaxing vacation on the beach with family. We spend about 40% of our time on the beach, 30% on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning and beer/wine at night. The other 10% we spend finding restaurants and breweries. i mentioned some of my favorite places in a previous review, this time I want to add Bessie's Cafe (232 S Coast Hwy) for breakfast. It's a little hole in the wall, started in 1929, with great food. My favorite is the machaca and eggs. Breakwater Brewing company (101 N Coast Hwy) is another favorite. Tons of great beers on tap and their food is super yummy. Try the avocado bruschetta appetizer and any pizza. My last recommendation, if you are into craft beers, is to go hang out at the Stone Company Store in Oceanside (near 310 N Tremont St.) They don't actually brew there, but there is a lot of great beers on tap and the garden type atmosphere is so relaxing. They don't serve food here, but you can bring it in with you. Also, be aware there is no signage for this place. We drove by it 6 times. It's in a garden looking lot next to the larger parking lot."

"Benefits over a hotel- fully stocked kitchen (even some kitchen gadgets I don't have at home), beach towels, umbrella and beach chairs to use, living room, big table for meals and games, price!
Only downside- we are used to our Worldmark time share and missed having 2 bathrooms."
