  • Home for a few months

"To say this condo was great would be an understatement! My husband I stayed here for 2 months while we were waiting for permanent housing in CA. The condo was very comfortable, welcoming, and well stocked. Having only personal things with us was no trouble because the condo had everything! I was even able to bake cookies! The owner was more than helpful as was the staff on several occasions when I needed something out of the ordinary. My husband and I hope to return a weekend here or there even though we live just a mile away now. It was that great!"

  • Memorable Surf Getaway

"This place had everything we needed and then more! Well stocked, comfortable and extremely homey- a home away from home. We plan to return God willing and highly recommend this place for anyone. Everyone of our friends and family members who visited could not believe how nice it was and at the very reasonable rate that was offered. Perfectly located for us as we own a large surf business in Florida and the beach right out front was perfect for our surfing needs and business needs with our vendors in the region. The only thing I would mention is that it was hard to locate a grocery store nearby, however, we found a small family owned market right up the street (just North of Surfrider on PCH) that had everything you'll need at great prices, so you do not have to drive far. It was awesome sitting on the back deck each day overlooking the ocean which is right there in front. Best place we ate was 16 miles North in San Clemente at a place called 'Happa Js' - unbelievably great food and huge portions. Make sure you do your research before dining out!"

  • Great Place!

"My wife and I chose this property for a summer vacation with another family. This house was perfect for our getaway! We had plenty of space - each family having a floor to themselves with a full bathroom. We ended up not going out for meals too often because the views really are amazing from the deck! Nothing better than a good meal with friends watching the sun set over the ocean! The location was prime, it was nice to be up the hill a bit in a quieter and less crowded neighborhood enjoying the views. And it's just a quick stroll down the hill to the beach - we took the kids to Buccaneer park one day, had a few beach days and enjoyed the Oceanside pier. It was also convenient to be just a ~15 min walk to the Oceanside transit center - my wife took a train one day to the San Diego area. I would definitely recommend this house!"

  • Oceanside, CA

"My husband and I were never to CA before, (from NJ) and we had a great time! This place had nice cool underground parking in designated spot and elevators for those that needed them, two very well maintained pools and good security. Owners are very cooperative and respond to you quickly with any questions."

Oceanside Travel Tips

Catch a Wave at Oceanside Vacation Apartments

Surfing might have been born in Hawaii, where native people rode waves on huge wooden boards, but the sport grew up in California. California residents brought surfing to the rest of the United States and to the world. Bored surfers even created skateboarding in their spare time as way to keep up their skills when the waves did not cooperate. For San Diego residents surfing has become a way of life and a part of local identity. For vacationers looking for a chance to catch a wave of their own, Oceanside vacation apartments are close to some of the best surfing in the world.

Surfing for Every Level

From the rock reefs at Pointa Loma to the river mouth point break at the border of San Diego and Orange Counties, the waves are almost always in season. And Oceanside vacation apartments are always near the action. San Diego includes about 75 miles of open coastline and several distinct surfing spots. While the most ideal waves might be found at the famous Black's Beach, those seeking a challenge might seek out the man made jetties near Oceanside. The summer is truly endless in San Diego, where surfers do not have to travel far for a wave.

Surf on Your Toes

While surfing might mean recreation to many, competitive surfers find that the sport is also physically demanding. For vacationers seeking leisure rather than a challenge, San Diego offers plenty of beaches for lounging. Rather than ride a wave, many vacationers might be content to dip their toes in the turf. Oceanside vacation homes provide guests with an affordable and comfortable way to visit some of the best beaches on the Pacific coast. Don't just settle for California Dreaming. Oceanside vacation homes make the dreams a reality. Check the options at San Diego vacation rentals and book a spot.
