"What a wonderful 4 nights I had at this precious little home. If you are looking for quite and seclusion, this is the place. Dirt road winds down to a location tucked away in the forest, no homes in view. Great spot to experience quite and escape from the busyness most of us live in. The home is very well kept, beautiful kitchen, granite countertops and state of the art appliances, nice bedroom and loft, as well. The living room deck has a beautiful, unequaled view of the sunset over the treetops. A lower deck allows for comfortable shaded lounging and reading during the afternoon sun. The back patio, bordered by gorgeous, large trees, is another great reading spot in the afternoon. Old growth trees, several hundred years old, border the patio, and are throughout the property. I'm a bit of a tree hugger, so to me they were an honor to be able to spend time around. My dog enjoyed being free to run up and down their little road, off leash and explore a bit, as we walked on this property, something he can't do in traditional areas that are wall to wall cabins. The owner, Mary Jo, was super nice, very accommodating and a pleasure to communicate with. I will most definitely be back. If you want to get away...to write, read, meditate, and/or just escape a bit, while not leaving the luxuries of modern life behind...this is your place. The observatory is nearby, and also state park with lots of trails, if you have kids that you want to tire out. We didn't go to any of them, we were very content just being at the cabin."
