  • Perfect location, comfortable, clean retreat

"Linda has created a perfect space for a couple to spend a few days or a month. We stayed for a month and everything we needed was thoughtfully available. The location is perfect for walks to Moonlight Beach (3-4 blocks) then north on the beach to the Stone Steps and back to the retreat (3-4 blocks). It is close to downtown Encinitas and to Leucadia restaurants and shopping. The Encinitas and Leucadia farmers markets are close by too. Perfect for us was that our daughter's place was within a few minutes drive. It's small and cozy but so well done with upgraded amenities and super clean with nice private outdoor space. We will definitely book again. Thanks Linda for making it easy."

  • Exceptional Coronado Home !

"My husband and I have rented thru VRBO for many years both in Carlsbad and Coronado. This is absolutely the best place ever! Beautiful space, well designed and maintained, awesome outdoor space (2 large well-furnished spaces with great views) and close to everything. Clark was a pleasure to do business with and inquired often if there was anything we needed. If you are going to Coronado it would be impossible to find a better place to stay. I was so surprised by the previous review. It's like they must have stayed somewhere else. As for us, we are already planning a longer stay here next year."

  • Snowbird's Paradise

"Last February 2014, my husband and I had an unforgettable month in this 5-star Coronado Shores condo. We loved everything about our stay and suggest you should choose it without hesitation. Condo unit: This unit is part of the 10-building complex which sits directly on the Coronado beach, and is nearest to the world-famous Hotel del Coronado. The Unit is light and airy; the wall of mirrors in the living room area makes the apartment seem quite spacious; and the view of the “del” and downtown San Diego is expansive and stunning. The furniture and art work done by local artists was chosen with care. Each contributes to a restful setting appropriate to a beach environment. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs and more. There is a large flat screen TV with high definition cable service by AT & T that provides TV, PVR, and cable channels. Also available are a DVD and VHS player. The bed features a high quality King Size pillow-top mattress which is incredibly comfortable. A washer and dryer are very conveniently located near the apartment. The property is beautifully landscaped. The complex was very clean, safe and not crowded. We utilized both the assigned indoor garage space and outside parking for our rented car. We particularly enjoyed using the fitness center as well as walking on the promenade along the ocean. In fact, it is only a short walk past the del Coronado to the shops and restaurants on the town’s main street, Orange Avenue. We often left the car and explored Coronado on foot. Bill, the owner of the unit, was full of suggestions about things to do and places to dine in Coronado. We joined the excellent public library (the murals are not to be missed and the collection of books and DVDs is marvelous); went to the live performance at the Lamb’s Theater; found the supermarket had everything we needed; and for the freshest produce and cheeses there is an excellent Tuesday Farmers Market. We even took the tour of the world famous del Coronado hotel. Bill was most accommodating. We found it very simple to arrange our rental and he answered our queries immediately. The excellent climate, the lovely apartment, and the friendly small town of Coronado would be sufficient reason for anyone to spend many weeks. Yet a short drive over the bridge opens one to the many treasures of San Diego and vicinity. We can’t wait to return for an even longer stay."

  • Perfect for a large family!

"We chose this location due to its size, location and price. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The property is much bigger than expected with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 living rooms, a dining room, a great kitchen, and a great terrace. There were 2 gas grills, with one on the terrace, and a charcoal grill which made it very easy to BBQ everyday. The property managers were incredibly easy to deal with and made sure all our needs were met. All we did was stock the fridge and we were good to go! The best part of this home is its location. We had 4 teenagers along with some younger children and it accommodated all of their needs. The beach is a 5 minute walk away as well as the main Oceanside pier, a movie theater is down the street, and on Thursdays there is a street market across the street. I have used VRBO for years and have never given a 5 star rating, but this place deserves it. My family and I will definitely be back soon."
