  • Another Awesome Week

"My wife and I originally stayed at this property back in May of 2010, and loved it. So when we booked our October 2014 trip to San Diego, I immediately contacted Dean to book his condo again. Firstly, let me tell you that it is such a pleasure to land at the airport, pickup your rental car, and then drive directly to the beach when you have RESERVED PARKING! PB has so many great places to eat within walking or biking distance of the condo. We love the simple places, like La Perla for Mexican, or Vanoos Grillette for Greek (HUGE portions). The Mission Café is great for breakfast as well. Use the San Diego Reader’s web site to find out everything that is going on in the area. Broadband/Wi-Fi is included in the condo. In case you don’t want to eat out every meal, the kitchen is very well equipped. My wife and I like to stock the fridge with fruit, veggies, eggs and bread during the first few days of our visit. The local farmers markets and street fairs are great for this. Most things that you’ll need for a relaxing day at the beach are included: boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, those little straw mats to lay your beach towels on, and a beach umbrella. You simply walk out of the main lobby and you’re RIGHT ON THE STRAND. Aaahh, California. We also love the “beach cruiser” bicycles. We ride in the mornings and sometimes at sunset. There are combination locks included, which is very convenient for riding to shops. If I have to mention a few negatives, first would be the soft mattress - but that’s a matter of preference I suppose. Next would be the “morning noises”. If you sleep with the windows open like we did, you’ll hear the garbage trucks emptying the dumpsters at the nearby restaurants, and sometimes a crying baby in a neighbor’s condo - all before 7:30 AM. This wasn’t really too big of an issue for us though. We’re out all day swimming, surfing, sightseeing, biking - basically running ourselves ragged. We were in bed most nights by 10PM and the “morning noises” were a reminder that we should be up to “seize the day”. I would get out of bed each morning, walk over to the living room window, and down there on The Strand, those Californians were already out jogging, biking, surfing, and exercising. OK, OK… We’re awake you bastards. We’re up for another great day on PB! We’ll always recommend this condo!"

  • Great Place

"We have just stayed 30 days at this La Costa Condo. First of all the check in process and email communication was seamless. The pictures are exactly what the place looks like. Great amenities surrounding this condo - La Costa Resort itself, Grocery Stores and Restaurants in walking distance if you don't have a car. If you do have a car there are so many options to shopping, attractions and the beach within a few minutes. One of the best features to this condo are it sits on the top floor over looking the tennis courts and private members driving range in the distance. The sun always comes up on this side of the building. We would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone."

  • Great Rental

"Pros: -Excellent views from window -Beachfront Property -Adequately furnished for cooking -Underground parking -Tiled floors, Granite Counters, SS appliances Cons: -Neighbors may be overly sensitive to dogs -Located on the 1st floor (only a negative if you enjoy views from elevation) -Bedroom is adjacent to courtyard and thus ambient noise -Not enough bathroom linens for more than 2 people -Could benefit from a vacuum in house to clean up sand"
