"Great unit in a wonderful location in the very heart of the Gas Lamp Quarter. Steps away to many many fine restaurants and only short walk to the waterfront. Beautiful water and city views that never become tiresome. Fun to watch the aircraft carriers and other navy ships come and go. Unit is well equipped and set up for totally comfortable living. If we come back to San Diego, we would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Highly recommended! This property was easy to book, the owner was very friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent. The building is a block from the cove in one direction and just a few blocks to the ocean in the other direction. You can see both from the rooftop.
The building has kayaks, bikes, a stand-up paddleboard, and a host of other things fun things to use. Having a garage was great, and there was also a lot of parking on the street and at the park (overnight parking okay) a few blocks away.
Plenty of restaurants, stores, bars, and coffee shops are within walking distance. The rental was clean and well-stocked, and the owner was great. We very much enjoyed staying here!"

"Parking was a issue a few nights but w patients we could find a place and not have to walk to far. Good location with close by beaches and shopping the Kitchen is good and stocked with all cooking needs. The towels are big and soft also includes Beach towels two bikes and some boogie boards for catching waves. Not for a loud group tho as its a very quiet location out side neighborhood dogs which where not bad. Extremely clean and an easy to use lay out! Comfortable bed and couch!"

"We brought our family of 5 to Mission Beach and stayed in Casa Del Sol. The property was clean, well maintained, quiet, private, and super close to the beach. It would take us literary a 2 min walk to be on the beach. The owner was incredible to work with. He checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed and allowed us to use a pop up tent cover on the beach which was amazing for picnic lunches and relaxing with our 3 young children. The sand toys and boogie boards were a big hit with our 10 and 8 year olds. The property is less than a 10 min drive from Sea World and whale watching. We ran on the boardwalk every morning. Only 30 min drive to San Diego Zoo. Belmont Park is walking distance and really fun for the kids. The kitchen is not up to date, but that was not an issue for us. We would stay at the property again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach house. My only concern was the balcony. It was beautiful and my kids loved it; however, the slats are wide and we worried about our 2.5 year old possibly squeezing through and falling. We just kept her off it. Maybe something for the owner to consider fixing or altering."
