"Please forgive my tardy review of this wonderfully located cottage in Ocean Beach. My wife and I both have family in San Diego and we lived for several years in Ocean Beach many years ago. One of the biggest draws for this property was the ability to walk to any destination in Ocean Beach that we wanted to visit: the beach, cafes and shopping destinations, the Pier and the main street stores. It is a large, comfortable cottage with several sitting areas for our family members who made the effort to come and visit. We ordered out for pizza and had some real quality time. The kitchen is fully equipped and while you mostly do breakfasts on vacation, it could easily handle larger cooking assignments. The wrap around deck is unique and inviting with some cool rockers to settle into. Chris was very helpful in getting us settled in and pointing out the utilities. This was one of our standout rentals on VRBO."

"My boyfriend and I rented this cottage for 4 nights to get his son settled into SDSU. Booking was very easy. The cottage was adorable, very clean and neat, quiet, and had a very well stocked kitchen. I loved the patio with all the greenery during the day and the numerous candle holders (with candles supplied) to add ambiance when we sat out there having hoe-devours and cocktails/wine in the evening. The keypad entry was a bonus as we didn't have to carry keys with us when we walked to the beach (2 blocks) or to downtown (about 7 blocks). The garage parking with this unit is a huge bonus, as the street parking gets very busy!! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and can't wait to come visit again."

"Maybe it was a combination of the perfect location, great weather, amazing home and downright pleasant owner. I stayed here with a few friends for three nights during Spring Break and I couldn't have asked for anything more. The home is located about 4 blocks from the beach which results in the perfect morning walk. There are several shops, restaurants and places to hang out around there. There's a tot lot/mini park and a full basketball court at a school just down the street. Upon arriving at the home we were greeted by Amy and she gave us a tour of the home fully loaded with the essentials. Convenient parking, spacious living room, bedrooms and kitchen made it a comfortable place to stay. After unpacking our bags we were eager to get the vacation started with a good meal & drinks and Amy's recommendation was right on point. She seemed to know the area well and was more than pleasant to work with from the moment I submitted the reservation request to check out. This is the perfect place to stay. The perfect getaway for a small family or a vacationing group."

"A lovely 4 bedroom and 3 FULL bath condo. There was plenty of space for me, my husband, our adult daughter, her baby AND our two weimareiners (dogs). We easily could have had a few more people and still been very comfortable. The unit is comfortably furnished, although the common areas furniture is a bit worn. The beds are newer and very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has all you need to cook full meals. This is an older condo, but it has been updated from a decor standpoint. Certain fixtures and features (like the old showers and cords everywhere) show the actual age of the unit.
The views can't be beat, and the location is an easy walk to either the ocean or the bay. It was great entertainment to simply sit and watch the activity on the waterway. The only downside to the location is the almost constant noise from planes taking off from the nearby airport. It wasn't an issue for me but made sleeping difficult for my light-sleeper hubby. Also -- bring a sleep mask -- the bedrooms get very light as soon as the sun is up.
Lots of nice beach toys and gear to enjoy a day in the sun. You don't need to bring any extras.
Overall, a great experience!"
