  • Girls Trip

"My girlfriend and I spent a week here with our small dogs. The gardens are beautiful and the owners were very hospitable and helpful. We went to the San Diego Zoo and the botanical gardens and several great restaurants while we were there. The facilities are probably best for a couple but there is space for others. Would go here again. Thanks Deborah."

  • Ideal La Jolla Location

"In the process of relocating to San Diego, we spent nearly three months in this lovely spot. The owner met us on our arrival, pointed out the amenities and made us feel right at home. They were attentive during our stay and responded immediately to any concern. This is a comfortable, well decorated, quaint home-away-from home. The lush, very private patio was a great place to spend an evening. We enjoyed the proximity to La Jolla village with its many unique restaurants, shops and endless views. We particularly like Finch's Wine Bar with its unique and delicious menu. It is only a two block walk to a trail along the cliffs of La Jolla cove where one can enjoy the sights of seabirds, kayakers, snorkelers and the ever-present sea lion colony. If I were not living here now, I would definitely stay here again."

  • Fabulous Home!

"This home was everything we had hoped for. We traveled to San Diego for a family reunion. It was conveniently located to all the attractions and activities we did. It was comfortable in everyway. It was spacious and had plenty of room for relaxing. The pool was true to the picture and was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. The home was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was clean and updated. The owner obviously cares for this home. The company that handled the booking was also very friendly, professional and accommodating. We have stayed in other vacation homes and have not had the extras this company provided such as information about the area, courtesy calls prior to the vacation as well as during the vacation, friendly welcome note upon arrival and more! We hope to return to this property and would definitely recommend it to friends and family! No regrets!"

  • Arde2014

"First, I would like to say that Alejandra was very helpful and understanding and this is why we chose her property over other similar ones. She was quick to respond to our inquiries and she left plenty of things for us to use for the kids such as playpen, beach towels, umbrella, etc. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and other things like salt and olive oil. The location is perfect for going to beaches such as Coronado, Ocean beach (15 mins or so) or to the Zoo and Sea World. The Zoo was maybe 5-8 mins away. We found the neighborhood to be quiet and this was great because we had to leave the door and windows open a lot in the evening since home does not have AC. There are about 4 portable fans in the home to use as well. The home itself is older without many upgrades...perhaps 80 yrs old or so. We would recommend this to friends coming here for the Zoo or Sea World and with little kids however please keep in mind the following things which were very important to us: the beds in both bedrooms and the futon were very uncomfortable, hard as the floor, old and squeaky. I suffer of lower back pain and I was so uncomfortable that after two nights sleeping there I could hardly walk because of my back. I had to use pain cream to be able to go to the Zoo and after 1 hour of walking I was in tears and we had to leave. I don't remember being in this much pain in a long time. Unfortunately we would not be able to come back in the future because of this reason unless the beds are upgraded at a later time. Otherwise this is a very affordable place to spend your vacation in San Diego."
