"We have stayed in Coronado many times with other vrbo homes, and this certainly is one of the nicest places we have stayed. Very clean, wonderful remodel with excellent upgrades while still keeping with the classic architecture. The owner was extremely kind and accommodating especially when we made a late decision to take some time off and booked at the last minute. Neighborhood was quiet but only a short walk to Orange Street, library, park, and beach. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. One thing I would add--we were slightly hesitant having read the one negative review of this home, but looking at the pictures we felt the review was probably unfair. We were exactly right. Someone clearly had an axe to grind and it is unfortunate those kinds of reviews are allowed to remain on vrbo. These homeowners take risks allowing people into their homes, and to have someone fabricate a review to damage the owner is absurd. We found the home spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described."

"Our group of 7 rented 2 cottages with our doors only a few feet apart. I was pleasantly surprised to find air conditioning in the bed rooms. It was so handy to be able to have a place to make our own food as one of our group had food allergies, it was also great to have a washer and dryer there. We had our own parking which we quickly realized was a big deal for a beach community. The neighbours were great. The restaurant advise Tobi gave us was right on. The beach was beautiful and close by. We really enjoyed the farmers market on Wednesday the food there looked delicious (sadly we'd already made other supper plans) next time we'll plan our supper there. We loaded up on some gluten free goodies. We came for Comic-con and the cottages were central enough that it was only a 10 minute drive to the shuttles. We had a great experience and I believe the cottages were far more relaxing than hotel would have been. The snacks left for us were appreciated. We would love to come back."

"I am very late in writing this review but I knew I would have to do it at some stage. My wife and I stayed in San Diego with another couple as we had heard so much about SD from friends. We booked online from the UK having done a load of research and we were not disappointed. The apartment suited our needs to a tee, and had all the necessary equipment needed for a holiday. The views to the beach and the sunset as we were facing due West were immense. The park outside was used several evenings but there was no trouble or noise whatsoever as the groups finished at a reasonable hour and cleared everything up after them. The owner of the bar underneath the apartment was most welcoming and gave us great advice where to visit in San Diego. The Duelling Piano Bar is a must see. Just around the corner from Hooters Bar - which we consider you should avoid! Also, just along the beach from our apartment is a new hotel (I can't remember the name) and again they welcomed us with open arms. we had many a beer and cocktail there - both in the bar and also at the outside area overlooking the beach. A must do in San Diego is the Hornblower Sunday Brunch Cruise - well worth the cost. Anyway, I could go on and on - but to conclude, the apartment was a fantastic base for our holiday and I am sure we will return, and if we do, this apartment will be our first choice. Thank you."

"Excellent place for a couple or a few couples. Wife and I rented ten days and had our daughter down with her friend one weekend. Well equiped kitchen. Clean, sharp, quiet, sunny. Comfortable reading chairs, wi fi use. Lots of walking, rent a boat or hire a gondola to your dock. Drove to up Torrey Pines, down to border, zoo, gas lamp, old town, Point Loma. Lay around home, Coronado has three good groceries. Explored local water by kayak, SD by car, by foot and by ferry. Owner arrangements were smooth. Satisfying destination, far superior decision to suite at the Del we initially considered. Second bike would make it perfect. See you again."
