"Me and three other friends stayed here for 10 day and let me tell you is was great. The location could not of been better, walking distance form the ballpark to tons of resturants and the grecory store was nice. they even had the discount card for the grecory store. master bedroom was realy big with it own bathroom. the kitchen had everything that you could of wanted or need on vacation. the best thing about this place was the balcony right of 5th ave (the main street) after a long day of sightseeing nothing beat haveing a beer looking over the balcony just people watching. plus brandon was so nice to deal with this was my frist time renting a condo like this and i hope the next time it is just as easy and smooth. thanks"

  • Home away from Home

"We have happily completed the first month of our 5 month stay, and are delighted with our beautiful condo.Having spent many summers in San Diego, we are particularly delighted with this beautifully decorated and abundantly equipped accomodations. A warm, welcoming, comfortable home away from home, exactly as it was presented, and owners who are most helpful and eager to insure your stay is perfect. Centrally located, within walking distance to many waterfront and downtown locations, quick access to the highways, and Balboa Park , & little Italy, makes it truly a walking location. We look forward to the remaining 4 months, and a return again next summer."

  • Another great stay.

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Casita and we were not disappointed. We had everything we needed to feel at home and the addition of beach chairs and beach towels was a nice bonus. Lynn and Jim are great hosts and we will definitely stay again."

  • All Good

"I'm not sure what I could write that hasn't already been written. Greg's place is great! The building is quiet, the loft is roomy. Everything you need is provided. We walked to Petco Park, Gaslamp, Marina, Hillcrest and Balboa Park. It was nice to be able to leave the car in the parking garage and just walk. Greg is very attentive and couldn't be easier to work with. Two thumbs up!"

Dining in San Diego

- Carnitas’ Snack Shack: In 2011, chefs Hanis Cavin and Sara Stroud opened Carnitas’ Snack Shack. They serve slow food-inspired, pork-based American cuisine, snacks and local beers. The menu changes daily because the chefs use local ingredients from farmers, ranchers, bakers and breweries. Not only will the meal be delicious, but you can feel good knowing you’re supporting local business!

- Market Restaurant: If you’re looking for an upscale, yet casual restaurant for a nice dinner, try Market Restaurant + Bar. Carl Schroeder, chef and owner, opened his place in 2006 and has experienced success ever since. He also uses locally grown ingredients and bases his meals around what’s in season. You can enjoy farm-fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses and other produce.

- Vincent’s: If you have a craving for some French food in San Diego, you’ll want to plan and evening at Vincent’s. Chef Vincent Grumel studied in Avignon, France, and brought back what he learned to combine classic French cooking techniques with the use of quality, in-season ingredients. Pair your meal with one of the more than 2,000 wines held in the cellar, from grand vintages and wines from small producers. For six years in a row, Vincent's was honored with the “Award of Excellence” from the Wine Spectator, so you can be sure you will be sipping something wonderful. Celebrate your joie de vivre as you dine on seafood, duck, pork, beef and vegetables!
