  • Overlooking the Pacific

"My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Donn and Barbara's beautiful condo! So many amenities! The "backyard" is the ocean! And, though we didn't get to meet them because they were away on their own adventure, Donn was so good about e-mailing me before they left -- all the very specific "How To" instructions, as well as an amazing list of local attractions, shops and restaurants. It was so convenient to have parking in the garage. Everything was very secure. And what a treat to enjoy the complimentary wine and beer that were waiting for us when we arrived! Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean while having coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. It was great to be able to walk into town and try the different restaurants. And it was so nice to be so close to friends in Coronado, La Jolla and Pasadena. Even got to enjoy a Padres game - they won! Truly an excellent week in a wonderful condo. Already looking forward to staying there again the next time we're in San Diego!"

  • Perfect Lodgings

"My sisters and I were looking for a quiet place to stay not far from beaches and sights, and for easy access to major highways. The apartment met all of our wishes and needs. The hosts, Bruce and Martha, were/are delightful, and went over and above to get us situated on the internet. Very comfortable accommodations, a lovely spot, and we enjoyed their dogs. We are hoping to go back next year."

  • Excellent Stay

"Booked the loft for a convention and was so happy to stay at such an interesting, clean and nicely furnished place. The loft layout is very functional yet charming and cozy. The place has an interesting vibe that would work well for friends, family, business or a weekend get away. The owner-Christina-was very honest to rent from and provided great communication about the unit."

  • Perfect for Combining Business and Pleasure in San Diego!

"I registered for a large conference at the convention center and decided to take some extra time to enjoy San Diego. We did not rent a car, but that was no hindrance to our enjoyment of the area. We took a comfortable walk to Balboa Park to enjoy the zoo one day and then enjoyed Coronado Island another day. There are some terrific restaurants close by - Taka was a great sushi restaurant that I would highly recommend. If you like Italian cuisine, try Asti Ristorante. If you are an IPA craft beer lover, do not miss the Coronado Brewing Company if you visit the island. The unit was outstanding with an incredible view of Petco Park. If you are a baseball fan, you will not want to miss sitting up in the "bleachers" on the roof. The Padres were in town during our visit and it was a very unique experience. The unit is very clean and well-equipped. It is perfect for two people, but it was not bad the three people in our party. The owners were outstanding, providing good communications before and after our visit. They provide a welcome letter chock full of information in advance of your visit. There is a small balcony that was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning and wine in the evening...nothing like enjoying the sounds of the city! We did not use the BBQ grills on the rooftop patio, but it certainly was a popular activity. Check in was very good - the unit manager met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the unit and the building amenities. The unit is a tremendous value in the heart of beautiful San Diego! I would give it my highest recommendation and will certainly recommend it to friends and family that plan to visit San Diego."
