  • Great option if you need to sleep 4-6 people

"We stayed 5 nights, the unit was clean and as described. Felt safe knowing the owners were one floor above us. We had 4 adults and loved having the space, especially two bathrooms. Nearby restaurant "Ella" was recommended and a good breakfast option. Owners are very easy to work with. Highly recommend taking a cab if you are not use to driving in the city; it is very busy, parking is hard to find and the hills are very steep. A cab ride or uber was usually around $10-$15. Note: if you use uber, check online to see if the rate is "standard" or increased due to high volume "surge pricing". Wifi was easy to connect to. One suggestion for owners would be to invest in some nicer pillows for the beds. Highlight of our trip was a bike ride over the Golden Gate bridge and on into Sausalito, then took the ferry back. We would stay here again."

  • Cozy, Comfortable and Charming! A great place to relax!

"I drove up on Friday, parked my car and with the exception of a day-jaunt to nearby Bolinas and Pt. Reyes Station, left it parked for the entire week. This home is a wonderful getaway....well equipped and well cared-for. I loved having my morning coffee in the garden with the sounds of the pond and the songs of the local birds and ocean surf in the background. Just a few short steps from the house, is an expansive beach perfect for long walks, or just sitting in the sun. If you want a change of scene, less than a 5 minute walk brings you to the quaint town of Stinson Beach where you can explore local artists' work, browse the wonderful bookstore or eat in one of the local restaurants (The Parkside is a favorite) with menu items supporting nearby farmers, ranchers, and fisherman. In the evenings, I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. I love to cook, and I found everything I needed to create a great meal. (I especially loved the gourmet stove!) The living room is a wonderful place to kick back by the fire and watch a movie. As I often started my days in the garden, I ended them there as well. Sheltered from the evening sea breeze, it was wonderful to sit by the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the quiet night sky. A hot tub under the stars, followed by a good night sleep in a comfortable bed was just what was needed for a perfect week. I slept in the downstairs bedroom that directly accesses the garden (I did not experience any moldy smell as was mentioned in a previous review) The floor to ceiling windows provided a wonderful view of the lit garden at night as well as the beauty of the first light of day. I would highly recommend this fantastic spot to anyone who needs a change of pace - I can't wait to come back!"

  • Awesome stay!

"The place was absolutely beautiful and centrally located: there's an awesome pasta/pizza place (Flour+Water), a great bar (Trick Dog) and a nice sandwich cafe (Atlas) within a one-block radius. If you're not feeling like going outside, the backyard is a nice place to read or enjoy a glass of wine, and the kitchen's great for whatever you might need. The owner is really sweet and always available for any problems that might come up. I had a great stay!"

  • Sausalito Gem

"This Apartment exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, throughout our stay it just felt like Home. located within walking distance to the ferry, fantastic restaurants, shopping, and all the sights of Sausalito it would difficult not to have a great time. The Apartment itself was well appointed, with all the stuff you need to prepare meals or just enjoy some wine on the Deck. It is super clean and the Bathroom with an oversized twin showers was cool. This place originally owned by 'Sally Stanford' a former Madame in San Francisco, and Mayor of Sausalito. She must have been a charmer because this place is full of charm and warmth. In fact if you read a recent Book on San Francisco by David Talbot, there are a few great quotes from Sally.WE will be Back!"
