"The studio is beautifully designed for comfort, practicality, and aesthetic pleasure. Every detail has been considered. It is clean. The bed is very comfortable. There is a beautiful garden and a private deck. The studio is in a quiet residential part of Berkeley, a short walk from the restaurants of the Gourmet Ghetto and very convenient for food-shopping, with two supermarkets nearby, and a farmers' market one day a week. A wonderful place to stay, and good for working. The owner is thoughtful and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend the studio for a short or long stay."

"My family spent a week here while visiting our cousins in February and welcomed the wonderful weather after a winter that would not end back home. The house is clean and neat with a unique layout on multiple floors. The surrounding deck affords long views across the Bay and is a nice place to relax in the sun. Sylvia is always able to be contacted and is quick to resolve any situation that might come up. The location is perfect to San Francisco, Berkely or Oakland. The home is situated in a very upscale neighborhood on a quiet cul-de-sac with a public park at the end with tennis courts. Hiking trails are easily accessed into Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. A+"

"Our time spend in the Julia Morgan house on Panoramic Hill was magic! Imagine yourself set free in your eccentric great aunts home full of books, art, and great music. I found myself spending hours exploring the vast, beyond mainstream book collection in every room in between gazing out the windows watching the turkeys frolic with the squirrels and looking at the amazing city views. My young teens found the record player in the dining room with the huge collection of albums and our weekend was spent with them discovering music such as the Beatles and more. Evenings were spent lounging in the living room having meaningful conversation in front of the panoramic sunsets. Lifelong memories were made here that lovely long weekend! Our hostess went beyond for making sure we were comfortable and cared for. Couldn't ask for a better situation!"
