  • Amazing sunsets

"We were fortunate enough to arrive during a January "heat wave". Crystal clear skies, no fog, mild temperatures. The cottage is quaint, with an open floor plan. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are downstairs and it was cold down there. The heated toilet sets was a nice touch in the middle of the night. The rear deck is great for watching those sunsets. The abalone shell on the picnic table is to hold cigarette butts, should have been cleaned so non smokers didn't have to smell it. I was immediately taken back by the poison ant bait on the kitchen counter. We didn't see any ants, so if there were some maybe put the bait in a cabinet or in a nook on the floor. The pots and pans were sad. Missing or very loose handles, greasy and sticky. This morning, we got locked in. The deadbolt wouldn't unlock. My husband had to jump a fence to get to the front door, couldn't open it. He came back over the fence and took the lock off. Inside was a piece that had broken off. Dillon Beach is one of the only beaches in Marin County that allow dogs off leash. We appreciate being able to take our dog. It was a nice stay. The place is well equipped. Those sunsets make the stay."

  • Great retreat!!

"We rented this property for our fellowship annual retreat. Twelve of us had a great relaxing and sharing moment in this property with an awesome ocean view. It takes only 10 mins to walk to the beach by using shortcut. Taking about half hour to 45 mins to walk to the beach by walking the original path. Nice workout time :) All the facilities are great except the stove. We spent almost an hour to cook only one dish for dinner. Russ always gives a quick response on emails and very helpful. We will definitely love to stay here again if we stick with this number of attendees."

  • excellent retreat

"I booked this for my company weekend retreat. We are 11 people and wanted a place where we could relax, cook together and have some productive strategy discussions. The Seafilly house was perfect. There were comfortable beds for all of us and a large kitchen/dining area. The living room looks out onto the ocean so we could still enjoy the scenery during our discussions and workshops. Randy was very responsive and answered all our questions. The space was well stocked with everything we needed. The foosball and pool table were an added bonus. We'd love to come back here for our next retreat."

  • Far exceeded expectations!

"Hi Cherry, We wanted you to know that our stay at your Dillon Beach house more than lived up to our expectations. The energy and sensitivity you put into the furnishing, decorating, and outfitting the house demonstrates a sincerity and generosity toward those who rent it. Waking up every morning, and walking downstairs to see the ocean was also a treat. We love to cook, and were very pleased with the kitchen. We wanted for nothing when it came to equipment and utensils. Thank you for all of that. We loved staying there."
