"The view from the great room and many of the bedrooms is truly amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped. This is not a huge house, which adds to the fun. The main deck is on the side of the building which leaves an unobstructed view of the Pacific from the floor to ceiling windows in the great room. Bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished, not huge - but very nice. Bathrooms are very nice. The TV room referred to in the listing is not pictured - it's a good place for kids to sleep. The owner was very quick to return our inquiries from the very beginning, which was very much appreciated. We visited San Francisco two of our days; Sonoma Wineries; golf at Bodega Bay; Spa Osmosis; Hog Island Oyster Farm; the Russian River for a canoe trip; So many good restaurants in the area. Dillon Beach was a great launch point for all of these activities. We were very pleased with our stay. Thanks"

"We have stayed at this house several times over the last ten years. It is large enough to accommodate are large family including visiting friends. This is our "go to" place for our salmon fishing out of Miller's Landing or the short drive to Bodega Bay. The stainless steel sink/table makes it quick and easy to clean our catch. We BBQ our catch and have used their "egg poacher" to cook our son's "first" caught salmon. What a feast! This kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook large family dinners from dinner plates, flat ware, cups, glasses, pots n' pans, mad lots of many items we don't even have in our own home. We finish the day by soaking in the glorious hot tub!!! We have plenty of comfortable room to sleep everyone and feed everyone. It's just a warm, inviting home that shows that it is well cared for with the visitor's comfort in mind. Our family loves this place and we will continue staying here each year with our large family for many years to come."

"Hubby & I visited Low Tar with our golden retriever in celebration of our birthdays. The weather was beautiful with sun and temps in the low 70's both days. We were in heaven! This cottage has the best ocean view on Summer Street. We found it very cozy, comfortable, and quiet. We liked that the sliding glass door out to the deck had a screen so that our dog wouldn't go out, but we could hear the ocean waves and smell the freshest air ever. The bed was extremely comfortable also for a good nights sleep. The kitchen view with that window made all the difference in the world. The place is so sunny and bright. It felt like we had lived there before, as we felt right at home the minute we walked in. The kitchen has everything you need for a barbeque and cooking large meals. Nancy has thought of everything and it was a breeze booking with her.
We always like to visit Point Reyes Station before we head up Hwy 1. We love to visit Toby's feed barn there with its unique gifts and treats. Also the Pine Cone café at Point Reyes Station has good food and you can eat outside with your dog at the picnic tables. You can also do this at the Dillon Beach café.
I really loved how we could walk to the store, café, and beach all within a few minutes of the cottage. I felt extremely comfortable walking our golden in the neighborhood at 9 at night. The town is a sleepy, quiet, and safe community. I would love to live here.
Thanks Nancy for sharing your cottage with us!

"We had a lovely stay here. I would recommend it for people who are able to go up and down stairs a lot. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor and the living area is upstairs. The upper deck offers a small view of the ocean between trees and the houses in front of it. It is not far from the beach but we chose to drive rather than walk because we had our 16 year old dog with us. Parking was $8. The bed was comfortable as were the couches in the living area. Bodega Bay and Tomales are very close by and we took advantage of both for sightseeing."
