"Our family spent a week in Dillon Beach at Almost Paradise. Such an appropriate name! We have 4 adult kids and 4 grandkids who are all baby/toddler ages, and we were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary. I cannot say enough good things about our time there. The house is warm, cozy, and wonderful. We rarely left other than to go to the beach (beach pass provided!). There was plenty to do at Almost Paradise - books, games, cable, internet, grilling, fabulous views, and when the deer came within a few feet of the windows, it was amazing. We found the house to be well-stocked with more than enough dishes, flatware, and glasses, and very decent pots and pans big enough to accommodate cooking for a crowd. There are bookshelves full of interesting things to read, toys for the kids, games for one and all, and plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels. The secret garden was such a treat for our little grandchildren who delighted in digging and then filling up hole after hole. We were fortunate that Almost Paradise allows dogs, as our Boxer and our French Bulldog are definitely members of the family. Of course, we took along doggy bags and kept the yard tidy. The view is absolutely stupendous. We saw a pod of whales in the bay, and luckily, there were binoculars at the house for really good viewing. Sunsets are amazing, too. All in all, it's a fantastic place, and we were absolutely delighted to spend a week there."
