"We just got back from a two week stay at this rental home and it was perfect. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious, and the location couldn't be better. My family had the pleasure of meeting Nancy, and she could not have been more gracious and accommodating. This home is extremely warm, inviting, and relaxing, and I would highly recommend it!"

"We've stayed at a lot of vacation rental houses. This rates as one of the very best. The open layout of the main floor is spectacular, the upstairs bedrooms--and the beds--- comfortable, and the outdoor seating areas are relaxing. The location is great.....a quiet spot just steps from a few eateries. The manager kept in touch to make certain we had everything we needed. Highly recommended."

"My group of friends stayed at the Camellia House for the Jazz/Blues Festival. There was plenty of room for all 9 adults in the house that we didn't feel crowded. The house is well stocked and we didn't have to use alot of things that we usually bring. We will know for the next time we book Camellia. The outdoor area was great for everyone to come together or spend time alone down at the dock. After dark we used the sunroom which was wonderful because we eat dinner and spend some time outside (somewhat) but protected from the winds. One thing I would suggest is that there should be more lighting around the bbq pit. We used a flashlight after dark which worked also. Overall, we will definitely be renting again."

"My husband and I needed a place to stay close to Stanford Hospital, while he was recovering from a heart transplant. Since we were having to stay for an extended period of time I needed to find someplace where he would be comfortable. I knew it was important for me to be comfortable too, as this was going to be a stressful time and I needed to take care of myself as his caregiver.
I had looked at several options and they just weren't right. I called Danna and she suggested I come and stay a couple of nights (she was between guests) to see if it would work for us. As I left the freeway and drove up Alpine Road it was so beautiful with all of the trees, horses in pastures, very idyllic. I turned into the driveway and felt an immediate connection with the property. Large oak trees, hills in the background, and rustic looking cottage. I knew right then that was the place for us! The cottage is so comfortable. Lots of light coming in from both windows and skylights. The bed is so comfy, and the sheets are ironed and smell like out doors! Danna dries them on the line. Wonderful, wonderful!
Danna...I can't say enough about Danna. She was considerate, concerned, and became a close friend in the process. A fascinating lady! We had great discussions over wine, and she introduced me to the knitting group, and put me in touch with a friend who has horses. It was all so helpful as it helped me from feeling overwhelmed and isolated.
I would highly, highly recommend Danna's rental for anyone, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is recuperating from a hospital stay. We certainly would have had no problem staying indefinitely!"
