  • Magical Place

"My boyfriend and I, along with another couple, spent the weekend at this fabulous place. It was magical. First you are greeted by four well-behaved but enthusiastic dogs as you pull up. (This was nice as our 17 year old dog died two weeks ago.) As you walk to the front door on the other side of the house you see the beautiful, well kept garden and patio area. Then the horses and meadow. But it was the swing on the large oak tree, the chicken coop, and the Sweet Pea Cottage that stole my heart. Fresh eggs in the morning, feeding carrots to the chickens (who knew they ate those?), swinging on the oak tree beyond the cliff overlooking the bay, and exploring the ornate children's cottage and trails behind the secret tree. I told my boyfriend that this would be a great place to take our kids, if we had any. But then I realized...it allowed us to be kids! Even better. We loved the patio set up - the ability to build a fire and have dinner and cocktails outside. And the house was fabulous - surprises everywhere with all the comforts and charms of home! Linda and Stockton, our hosts, took great care of us. This is a fabulous estate and we intend to return."

  • Location, location, location

"We enjoyed the very quiet, safe, inner courtyard, and clean downstairs apartment in an updated Victorian with the owner residence above. The #2 bus was only a half a block away and we could access everywhere in the city. It was accurately portrayed in the ad and was a good stay. We would recommend this place to anyone."

  • Enjoyable, Pleasant, Peaceful Vacation

"'Hawks Hollow' is such a wonderful place! You get to see plenty of wildlife such as turkeys, deer, wildcats, and cows. You can walk to the beach in approx. 10 min. The beach house was clean and well maintained. Love that the kitchen had what we needed for cooking. We would definitely like to stay at this beach house again. : )"

  • Still quaint and rustic

"This was our second stay here and not much has changed. It was only a couple of days notice so it's nice that it's available for folks from the Bay Area who want to overnight in the area. The only sort of negative was that there were six or seven fly strips hanging down from the ceilings in the living room and kitchen with dead flies right at about face level. Not the sort of thing that someone wants to walk into."

Emeryville Travel Tips

Emeryville Vacation Rentals Are Close to Everything

Many people choose to make San Francisco Bay Area travel plans because there's no shortage of things to see and do. Whether you want to tour Alcatraz, visit the Golden Gate Bridge, or stroll along Fisherman's Wharf, you'll have lots of options. Emeryville is a small city that's close to everything that the Bay Area has to offer, including UC Berkeley and Silicon Valley. This makes Emeryville the perfect place to stay during your San Francisco Bay Area travel. If you are trying to decide on the best Emeryville lodging, vacation rentals are ideal.

Enjoy the Amenities of Home

Many times, lodging can make or break your vacation experience. Staying in Emeryville vacation rentals will make your San Francisco Bay Area travel more pleasant and peaceful as you enjoy the amenities and privacy that come with staying in a home or condo rather than a hotel room. Some of the amenities that are available include multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, laundry facilities, gourmet kitchens, views of the city and bay, private yards and balconies, and much more. It's the ideal Emeryville lodging choice for those who want to feel like they're home, even when they're away from home.

Emeryville Has Something for Everyone

In addition to the many attractions in San Francisco and Silicon Valley, there's plenty to see and do in Emeryville itself. Periscope Cellars is a must for wine connoisseurs because the wine is made in actual barrels in a former submarine factory. For music and drinks, you'll want to check out Kimball's East for a live jazz bar experience. Those who love water and the outdoors will have to visit Emeryville Marina, a popular spot in the area that leads to the Emeryville peninsula. Boat and jet ski rentals are also available if you don't bring your own.
