  • Loved it!

"LOVED our Friday-Sunday stay at the LOFT. My mom turned 70 this month and wanted to celebrate with a trip out of town. We lived in Moss Beach nearby so this was a great place in a familiar area. There were 4 of us: my mom, my two sons (10 and 12) and myself. Instructions were easy to follow and the LOFT itself was great! So much space! I'm so used to feeling cramped on trips, this was a very nice change. The artwork in the LOFT is beautiful and interesting to see! You have a view of the ocean from the balcony, and nothing beats the beautiful air from the Pacific ocean. Someone complained there is traffic noise because of the proximity to Highway 1, but honestly it did not bother any of us at night with the windows open, even on the weekend. One of the reasons I rented the LOFT was the kitchen. We didn't end up cooking as I had planned, but we did use the kitchen for breakfast (cereal and greek yogurt), to chill beverages and keep other perishable items Friday till our departure Sunday. There were plenty of dishes to use. The bathroom is spacious, and the showerhead was great. I hate showerheads at hotels and this was what I'd have at home. There were plenty of clean towels for all of us, and an adequate mirror with lighting for us ladies to get ready. Speaking of getting ready, there are an assortment of boxed games the boys could play while waiting :) My mom and I shared the queen bed, which was absolutely clean and comfortable, with outets on both sides for charging phones. There's also a privacy blind you can adjust depending on your needs. During the day it was slip open, and at night I had it open at the end so I could see my kids (and they could see me), but closed enough because my mom didn't want the light I left on for the kids. The kids slept on the futon and they were comfortable. My 12 year old is 5'4" and 120 pounds, my 10 year old is 5' and about 75 pounds. There were plenty of blankets for them. This was my first VRBO experience and I was very pleased. Thank you for sharing your space and letting my family enjoy the perfect weather in Pacifica!"

  • Amazing Studio

"Staying at Jennifer's studio in Bernal Heights, made our stay in San Francisco awesome. The place is well set up and cozy. Jennifer is a phenomenal host. Check in is at 4, but our flight got in at 11. I told her we would just drive around eat and start exploring. But i got an email from her saying she was able to get the place cleaned ip a day before so we could get settled in early. That was very nice of her. Also coming from New York it was a 6 hour flight, my wife who was 10 weeks pregnant was craving fruit when we got to the studio, when we arrived we saw Jennifer had some bananas and english muffins for us to snack on including milk and wine in the fridge. The studio is well set up in a very hip but family oriented neighborhood. Jennifer is so amazing she has mapped out Bernal Heights with great local restaurants and attractions. Jennifer has a cooler and jaccuzi available for us. She even lets you pick lemons from her lemon tree she has growing in the yard. I would recommend this studio to any of my friends heading to SanFran. It's located outside of downtown, but that was fine for us it as downtown was only a 20min drive."

  • San Francisco Charm

"A great place! Literally across the street from Golden Gate Park. Close to the beach. Brought our own car with our crew of 8 and didn't have any trouble parking. Owners were super welcoming and easy to work with. Andronico's Market (like a Whole Foods, but with Oreos and Pringles) is just around the corner. Felt safe and, though it's on a busy street, quiet. We've always done two hotel rooms in the past and now VRBO is my best friend. I loved having a place to cook, room to spread out, having my kids make their own beds ;) and feeling more like natives. This house had everything we needed! Just a few notes: There wasn't quite enough seating at the kitchen table for us all. It wasn't a problem for us, but there's no bathtub. They do have a baby tub in the laundry room if you have a tiny one. Needs a few more hangers. Wished had remembered it was California and brought my reusable shopping bags from home. Flat has laundry soap and plenty of linens. Our kids' (2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12) favorites: collecting sand dollars at Ocean Beach, hiking in Muir Woods, the fortune cookie factory in Chinatown, pizza at Tony's in Little Italy, Monterey Aquarium and Phil's Fish Market, ferry ride to Sausalito, and the concrete slide at the children's playground in Golden Gate Park. We hadn't even left before the kids were asking how soon we could come back!"

  • Fantastic stay at One Mesa for our whole family!

"We stayed at Mesa One over Xmas and New Years with our 3 daughters and their families. It was a perfect place to stay for many reasons. All of the bedrooms and the cottage are spaced such that everyone had some privacy, yet there were three indoor spaces for gathering as well as outdoor decks. This contributed greatly to us all enjoying our trip but having space to chill. The kitchen is large and very well equipped - we cooked all of our meals there and managed to all fit round the large table. The house overlooks a beautiful meadow and green hills in the distance and its a gentle walk to the town even with 4 children in tow. Pt Reyes has so many beautiful places to walk and hang out - in our 8 days there we only began to explore the area. While we were there, my husband and I renewed our vows in the back garden overlooking the hills and it was an idyllic setting. It couldn't have been more perfect! Mila and her staff were so helpful and hospitable. All in all, it was a superb place for us to gather with our family and we hope to come again in the near future."
