  • wonderful bday weekend with group of friends

"We were a group of 10 plus one toddler. We had a fantastic time and loved the house -- perfect location with amazing views. Close to stuff (9 min drive to Point Reyes Station), but felt removed and peaceful. The group engaged in a range of activities, including a bike ride up the coast, kayaking in Tomales Bay (Blue Waters kayaks is in walking distance), checking out Shell Beach (really short drive -peaceful little beach), hiking to Tomales Point, picking up oysters and grilling them on the deck, getting yummy baked goods at Bovine Bakery and cheese at Cow Girl Creamery..Inside the house, we thoroughly enjoyed the spacious kitchen and dining room for big group meals. As well as post-dinner lounging in the living room. Bedrooms were very comfortable with lovely views. The many bathrooms were also a plus for a big group. It was an ideal weekend! Recommend this place highly and hope to come back!"

  • Look no farther!

"We’ve stayed in a number of VRBOs, and this is undoubtedly one of the best. Upon our arrival we found a fruit bowl, numerous snacks, great linens, and everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable. The owners, Arun and Suzy, are truly delightful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and has lovely views from both decks in a very quiet neighborhood. It was extremely comfortable without the feeling of being in someone’s personal space. Suzy and Arun are quick to respond if you need help with anything or have a question about the area, but not the least bit intrusive. Speaking of help – in our rush to see our grandchild one more time on the way to the airport, my wife left her purse at the house. We called Arun from the airport and he found the purse, called us back, and even mailed it to our home. We will definitely return – it’s a truly great find in the Berkeley area, close to both good restaurants and shopping. Stay here – you’ll be glad you did."

  • Wonderful location!

"We highly recommend this villa so close to restaurants and shopping in Los Gatos. It was perfect for the two of us. The home was very clean and comfortable. The bathtub/shower was not a problem for us but could be if you had some mobility issues. There was nothing to hold on to when stepping from a wooden step into the tub. Everything else was ideal for our stay. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the front terrace in the evenings. During the day, besides enjoying the shopping and eating in Los Gatos, we explored the surrounding area. We took 17 Mile Drive seeing the lone cypress and exploring golf courses at Pebble Beach. We also watched the seals sunbathing on the rocks, hiked in the red wood forest and toured Stanford during our stay. We hope to return to this vila in the near future!"

  • Berkeley house for holiday get-together

"Our stay was everything we hoped it would be, allowing us to gather far-flung family to celebrate the holidays. Everything we needed was within walking distance -- the BART, restaurants, grocery stores, and Berkeley family members. The large dining room and living room had plenty of seating, and having the backyard barbeque gave us some meal flexibility. Older home has wood floors and detail, and some interesting architectural quirks that give it a unique personality. Bonus: Quiet residential neighborhood and an assigned parking space."
