"We spent 16 nights, in total, in this very accommodating, spotlessly clean apartment in an amazingly quiet location. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, the lounge area extremely comfortable, and the use of the patio an added bonus. Within easy reach, there are superb transport options of all types including BART, Muni, bus, trolley, etc . It is very quick and easy to get downtown. It is in close proximity to food stores (Safeways, Whole foods, etc), restaurants and other amenities. The hosts were gracious whilst respecting privacy. We also greatly appreciated the excellent bottle of wine that was left on both occasions we stayed in the apartment. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends, both American and English."

Well-provisioned and Very Comfortable Lodging for 22 days!
"Our grown daughter was participating in an annual event in Cazadero called California Brazil Camp for two weeks. Because of a health condition and allergies to pets, she is unable to "camp out" with the rest of the attendees who stay there to learn advanced Brazilian dance and music...so we rented the very clean Forestville Guest House originally for just two weeks. But when the camp ended, one of the main instructors from Brazil had another event down in Berkeley the next week and we extended our stay up to a full 22 days so our daughter could commute to more Brazilian dance classes. Our daughter stayed in the loft area on a comfortable futon while my wife and I stayed on the queen bed downstairs. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked and had useful appliances. There is a nice propane gas grill located on a redwood deck that served as our main cooking appliance for grilled burgers and chicken. Although I never used it, the grill has an easy-to-use single gas burner you could use with a pot or pan. We kept the washer/dryer going almost full time and it worked well although there is a learning curve on how to use it. The shower was very nice and powerful (unlike most places these days). But for us the "star" was the whirlpool/hot tub out on the deck. You can lie back in the whirlpool and look up at the branches of a tall redwood tree during the day. At night our daughter was able to soothe the aches and pains associated with all day and night samba dance practice when she finally showed up sometime after midnight on many evenings. There is a beautiful pool as well which we did not use as it was much easier removing the lid on the whirlpool than the cover on the larger pool. Because the owners were away on a camping trip most of the time we were there, they allowed us to harvest fresh heirloom tomatoes, peppers, squash, pears and even a water melon from inside or near their greenhouse. Because of the loft, the 400 square foot space felt a lot larger. We spent a lot of time at the table on the outside covered redwood deck listening to noisy squirrels warn off other critters (including us) from a nearby tall cedar tree a few feet away. There is internet available via WI-FI. The owners added an extender for it while we were there that greatly improved the signal after we mentioned the signal was weak inside the guest house. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property. It's in the heart of Sonoma wine country and the Russian River resort area. Very quiet too."

"This house was awesome! Beautiful grounds, lovely location, everything we needed. We had 6 couples total and it was perfect for all of us. We toured both Napa & Sonoma wineries and this was a great location for both. We were able to fix breakfast in the mornings and cooked supper one of the evenings, and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely consider renting Buena Sonoma again!!"

"My family and I stayed here for our first vacation in several years. There were 8 adults and 4 children (3 under the age of 4). There was plenty of room for us to spread out and for the kids to play without disrupting someone who was trying to nap or read a book. A quick walk to a very private beach was awesome (the kids also walked it). The backyard is huge with a and spa and we had the trampoline set up. The house is not a vacation only home but the personal touches made it feel very cozy. The items left in the home were completely appropriate and the only thing off limits was a locked office. Plenty of games for us to play, toys and even coloring books for the kids. The home is a lot bigger than it appears in the photos and has a ton of personality. Plus the price is much better than most places we looked at for our week stay. I would highly recommend."
