"My husband and I recently stayed here for a week and it was absolutely delightful!!! Our daughters live in California so it gave us a great place to visit with them and explore Sonoma County. The house is charming! Roses were in bloom all around the outside of the house and you brushed up against the sweet scent of lavendar when you entered the cottage. It was quiet, serene, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of high quality. It was an easy drive or bike ride into downtown Sonoma and a good jumping off point for exploring Sonoma, Napa and even SF which was about an hours drive. One of our favorite vacation spots to date. We will be back!!!"

"We have been staying at this large and spacious Cow Hollow apartment since 2007. We used to live in San Francisco and now come back once a year and stay at the apartment for at least a month. Everything about the apartment is wonderful. It is open and airy, filled with light, and tastefully decorated. For those who want to forgo all the top-rated restaurants in the area and cook at home, the large and updated kitchen, with top of the line appliances, is well stocked with everything a cook might want. The living room and dining area are great for entertaining if you have friends in town but are also perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing and walking. And the marble bathroom makes you feel like you are staying in a five star hotel. Two bonuses: a sun-lit (when not foggy!) garden in the back that is lovely for morning coffee and the parking space that comes with the house. The apartment is in a perfect location with only a few blocks walk to the lively Chestnut Street or Union Street with many restaurants, shops, to-die-for bakeries, and coffee shops. It is also an easy walk to the Presidio and Chrissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. Several different bus lines are also in easy reach. It is a delight to work with Pamela on making arrangements and she is very prompt in answering any questions. We truly feel now like this is our second home in San Francisco and we always look forward to coming back."

"We have rented several houses in Sea Ranch over the years, and the Gilbert House was certainly one of our best experiences. Reservations were easy, and everything was fully explained. I loved the fact that the sheets and towels were provided, even bathrobes, made it seem like a real vacation. This house is truly an architectural masterpiece, with so much character and ambiance, with so many inviting places to sit and read or watch the amazing views. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, a bottle of wine was even waiting for us!! We took many walks along the bluff trails, and down to the beaches, we never left the Sea Ranch, it was perfect right where we were. It truly was a restorative 4 days for us and we can't wait to go back. Thank you for sharing this very special retreat with us."

"Our gourmet meal group (4 couples) stayed in Napa to celebrate our 75th meal (no one had to cook this time!). We stayed at Ron's house and it was incredible and impressive from the very start. You drive up a hill along a private driveway overlooking vineyard with mountains in the background - the view is spectacular. Approaching the home you'll see a very zen-like fountain welcoming you to outdoor entry way. The outdoor entertainment area is incomparable, wrap around deck with 2 seating areas, lower level (poolside) there is dining area and a lounging area. The spa and pool were clean and refreshing after a full day of touring. We actually sat in the spa one morning to watch the sunrise over the mountain - don't forget to do that! The house is very clean, linens are new (not worn), floorplan has 4 bedrooms separate from the living area (so some of us could go to bed early as others stayed up), washer/dryer available for your use, towels were plentiful and brand new! The kitchen is full stocked with plates, glasses, etc. Ron was a great host, available whenever we called for advice. The house is secluded on top of this hill; we couldn't see any of the neighbors' houses. 5 min drive into Napa and short drive to the wineries. I can't say enough good things - stay here, you'll love it"
