  • Comfortable & Posh!

"This is a lovely place inside. The location is great if you are doing any Moscone Convention events. The garage parking is tricky but so nice to have! The home is beautifully updated & very well suited for two couples, as the bedrooms & baths are separated by the Big living/kitchen area. We were short a few towels & texted the owner, who responded almost immediately & got us what we requested & more. Then the WiFi was not working too well, texted again & within 10 mins. he had reset the system & signal was great. Overall very pleased with our stay. Be aware that The area is a bit sketchy, I would not walk alone at night & the street, even though sort of an alley, can be very noisy if you are in the front bedroom. There is a St. Vincent de Paul center down the block & so sometimes there is a lot of pedestrians hanging around & if your windows are open & they're smoking or chatting, you will smell & hear it! Also, we could not get 2 of the 3 front bedroom windows to completely close, so I don't think that helped w/ hearing the street traffic. But this is a big city that doesn't sleep, so got used to it."

  • Awesome little cabin

"My husband and I just loved staying here, it was cozy and private. The views are lovely and you could here the ocean all day long. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size and clean. The kitchen though small it had the appliances we needed to cook some great meals. Sitting at the patio drinking some wine watching the fog roll over the mountain was just breathtaking. Stinson beach is beautiful and made for some nice walks, the little town boasts some great places to eat( try some clam chowder) and the market has a little bit of everything so you don't really have to leave. The towns people are friendly, the cabin was great and I cannot wait to go back."

  • A lovely place to stay!

"My husband and I came to stay in California with our two teenage boys for one month and found this the perfect place to be. The house is very nicely decorated and has plenty of space; apart from a chicken and a cozy living room, there are 3 bedrooms and two separate bathrooms, one on each floor. The back garden is lovely. Our boys were especially happy with the large flat screen TV in the living room (another TV is in the bedroom downstairs). The house is on a quiet street but still in the middle of a thriving neighborhood with lots of good restaurants and bars. A large supermarket is just a 3-minute-walk away. Bus stations are basically around the corner, the tram is a few blocks away, and the nearest Bart station (24th street) within a 10-minute reach. The hosts are extremely nice and kind. When travelling to the US from Europe, we missed our connecting flight and arrived very late in the evening, but the host was still waiting for us and made us feel very comfortable. He explained everything patiently, but was careful not to linger, because he immediately saw that we were tired; he assisted us during our stay whenever we had questions over the phone or via email. We could not have thought of a better place to stay, and can thus wholeheartedly recommend it. It is great for families with little children or teenagers, for a group of friends, or generally for everybody who wants to stay in SF for a little longer than just overnight."

  • Three generations, 10 people, cozy and spacious and beachy and beautiful

"My family of 4 (including our 1 & 3 year olds), plus my brother, parents and aunts and uncles, all stayed here over 5 nights in August. What everyone else has said is true. The place is really comfortably and thoughtfully furnished and decorated and is even nicer in person than in the photos. Specific things that we loved: the kitchen has everything (all the appliances and tools and gadgets you might want, as well as all the condiments and spices you might want to really cook. Even with so many people in one house, including two jet-lagged littles who got sore throats on the plane, we weren't on top of each other and the bedrooms have excellent sound insulation so everyone was able to sleep soundly. The house has a pack-n-play and a high-chair that straps onto one of the dining room chairs, which makes traveling with a baby much easier. They even have a bunch of baby/toddler/preschooler toys and books - no need to bring your own! Great little town too - cute restaurants and shops, nice beaches & boardwalk, good playgrounds/parks, plus near mavericks for surfing and Moss Beach for tide pools, and New Leaf, the local health co-op, is excellent. Wish I had another excuse to go back soon!"
