"This was our second stay, and it was as delightful as the first. Jeannie is gracious and helpful, and the independent apartment in her home is charming and well-equipped.
The location is accessible to many sights and excellent restaurants, and the nearby steps down to the village are convenient, and the climb back up is good exercise.
The ferry from Larkspur to SF is fast and fun. We look forward to returning to this rental!"

"Greg & Barbara's place is great for any couple's getaway, but for hikers it's pure heaven. Set in the redwoods near the middle of the Dipsea stairs, it is located amidst some of the best hiking in the country. So much to choose from and so little time, we loved it all, especially the Steep Ravine hike. So beautiful and peaceful - much better than Muir Woods. The studio is oh so comfortable and immaculately clean. We felt at home as soon as Greg showed us in. We also appreciated the wealth of information about Mill Valley, dining, and, of course, hiking. We had a great organic pizza at Tony Tutto's Pizza. Yes, we will have to return for more great hiking, good food, and a beautiful, comfortable accomodation."

"The owner had this cottage built a few years ago in her garden on her large hillside property. The cottage is well equipped. It has a picture window with lovely valley views framed by her trees. We have stayed several times and feel most fortunate to have such a charming landlady. The last time, she left us some jalapeno jam and I am afraid we are now addicted.
The cottage is situated in Mill Valley, a village minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco. Mill Valley touches the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mount Tamalpais with fabulous hiking and views. A deer trail runs on two sides of the cottage outside the fence. If you are an early riser, there is a good chance you will see deer less than 30 feet away.
There are a few small negatives: parking is limited; the hillside lane to the cottage is a narrow zigzag with heavy construction traffic; the cottage is on a hillside with many stairsteps."
