"We stayed at The Mermaid's Perch in June 2015 - wow, what a nice surprise! This is just like a home-away-from-home - has everything we needed and more for a wonderful 5 days
at the beach. The condo is surprisingly big, sleeping 6. Downstairs has one room with two twin beds, the other room has a king and the bedroom upstairs has a queen.
Sleeping with the window and/or sliding glass door open allowed us to listen to the ocean all night long. There is steam shower upstairs - what a treat! There are even blow
dryers there so don't bother packing one of those. We had a problem with the wifi when we first got there - we contacted the owner and got permission to reboot the router
and that fixed it. Do not hesitate to contact the owner for any issues you may have - they are very responsive and helpful. The condo has a washer and dryer.
The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals. As other reviewers have noted the view from the balcony is spectacular. My opinion is it is probably the best view on
that beach. It is at the top of the hill so overlooks more beach than most of the other condos/homes in that area. Speaking of the hill, that is the only downside. You
need to be relatively young/healthy to walk that hill. It is only about 300 yards (guestimation) but it is pretty steep. However, if you walk a few miles on the beach you
can always stop at the Rio Cafe for a beverage/meal before climbing back up the hill to the condo. The food at the Rio Cafe is superb and the people there are great - a good
mix of locals and vacationers.
There is parking for two cars at the condo, more if you are willing to park down by the beach. It is a walk from there to the condo though."

"Myself and three of my girlfriends stayed at the Loft for four days and it was an incredible experience. First off, the Loft is HUGE, much bigger than I anticipated. We cooked quite a bit and everything worked wonderfully. The bathroom is very spacious plus there is tons of mirror space through out the loft so it didn't get too crazy with four girls in the house haha. The Loft is equipped with many of the necessities; such as, towels, blankets, toilet paper, dishes, etc. The Loft is filled with super awesome art and furniture. There's also access to a balcony that we actually spent a lot of time on. It's located above an art studio, which is pretty sweet. We were lucky enough to hang out with the neighbor and Baker, who is in the studio often. They gave us some good advice on places to visit. They were incredibly friendly and fun. The Loft is walking distance to a few bars and to the beach which we took advantage of! I noticed that the driving directions on my GPS to the city seemed to increase the length of time it takes to get into the San Fran, but it was not bad at all. We were able to visit the city daily with no problem. We will definitely be back! Leaving the Loft was heart breaking, we loved it so much."

"The Como Estate exceeded our expectations. The view of the river is gorgeous and peaceful. The property is at the end of the road, so you feel like you're alone in the woods. The landscaping is lovely, and the house is nicely appointed with everything you need. The house itself is vintage, with dated kitchen, bathrooms, and furniture, but this was perfectly fine with us. We thought the cottage was the best room, but it is rustic.
Plenty of room for 10 adults, both inside and out. Plenty of off street parking. Comes with kayaks and tubes too! We'd be happy to stay here again."

"My sister and I were thrilled with the house. It is very beautiful and exceptionally decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked with all utilities and the only issue we had with it was that we are not the tallest people in the world and we really struggled to reach the items in the cabinets. If you're tall you'll love it! The living room was very nice and the couch was exceptional. I've never seen such a big couch. We weren't too thrilled with the steep stairs to the bedroom but it gave us our excercise. Not recommended for anyone who is unable to climb stairs. The bedrooms were very nice and the master bathroom was beautiful! We stayed for a month and were sad when we had to leave. The owner was exceptionally responsive to my emails and I enjoyed chatting with him. The property manager was always available and whenever we had any questions and/or issues he was right there. There is one drawback to the house. It is on the main street in Healdsburg and there is always traffic and noise. The noise is not too noticeable except early in the morning when all of the garbage trucks and street sweepers truck are around. But that was a small price to pay to stay in this beautiful home. Many of my family members came for a visit and they were amazed at how beautiful the house is. We truly enjoyed our visit."
