"If you want the true San Francisco experience, you won't do better than the Hydeout. The Hyde St. Cable car runs right out front and the constant rhythm of the cables running under the road can actually be soothing. The wharf area is just 2 blocks down the hill which you will find much easier than going up the hill. Bike rental is also close by and the city is quite bike friendly with many dedicated lanes. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. One thing we noticed was that the wi-fi service would stop working after midnight so not sure if that is by design or not. Also there is no TV in the bedroom which we would have preferred as our daughters were staying in the front room. Highly recommend."

"This is the cleanest, best equipped and most tastefully furnished place we have ever rented.
In August 2014 my husband and I spent 17 days in this eceptionally beautiful house.
Every morning at breakfast we were newly enchanted by the sight and the sound of the waves as we watched the Pacific "at work" from the dining room table in the living room.
Though we were only two, the house is well suited for 6 people. It is spacious with its 3 bedrooms plus a den, and there are several comforable chairs for long-time sitting.
The listing description regarding its location was very accurate. A short trail leading to the main beach is just one minute away from the house.
The location of this house is ideal for all kinds of excursions whether it is the exploration of the natural beauty of Northern California you are seekinng or whether you want to experience the Mediterrrainian beauty of Somona and Napa Valley vinyards with their winetastings and amazing restaurants. Magnificent places like Point Reyes, Muir Woods and the Coastal Trail at Bodega are all within easy driving range. And then, of course, there are the long walks along Dillon Beach, watching Pelicans feed and other water birds.
The owner was in close contact with us and most helpful in answering our questions.
We would not only highly recommend this place to our family and friends, but would love for ourselves to come back there one day. The house and its location so close to the beach is well suited to families with young children, but for them, the path to the water would have to be improved in its safety from erosion.
We did miss not having access to an outdoor grill, and ATT cell service was non existent, but altogether, this house is the most relaxing place imaginable."

"A wonderful surprise to find this clean, comfortable and quiet cottage so near to my family in San Anselmo. It's secluded location provided plenty of privacy, it's well appointed interior provided plenty of comfort and the electric blanket was such a great treat I may have to get one for home!"
