"so isolated, such great views, so peaceful. the hot tub, heated floors, blankets, king sized bed, outdoor shower... only thing missing was a fire place. but honestly, this place was on such a gorgeous plot of land, the views made up for anything and everything. a fantastic stay."

"Decided last minute to take a "girl trip" to Capitola. Dan was great to work with. He allowed us to check in early which was great! We were able to unload our luggage and park my car before heading off to lunch. He also graciously allowed us a later check out time which allowed us to enjoy brunch before packing up. The great thing about this unit is its location. You can walk to the beach, shops and great restaurants easily. You can walk out the front door, head either way to explore the beauty and treasures of Capitola. I enjoyed the morning walks along the river, having a cup of coffee at Mr. Toots while sitting on the upper deck and walking the quaint streets of early morning Capitola. Unit appeared to be well stocked with kitchen and cooking needs. We only used the refrigerator. Too many wonderful restaurants to cook, plus we were treating ourselves. We liked having two vanities downstairs for us to get ready at. I always travel with my own linens and towels so I cannot attest to the comfort of those, but it appeared that an ample amount was provided. We enjoyed the small patio to sit out on in the col mornings and evenings. The covered parking space was great! Never moved the car the entire time we were there. Thank you Dan for making this trip enjoyable and possible for two great friends who have not been on a girl retreat for far too long. We appreciate your generosity."

"My husband and I had a small family gathering here with my husband's sister and two nieces, preteen & teen along with our son, a toddler. What a fun spot for all ages! I totally appreciated the beach toys and games. The walk to the beach was super. We didn't struggle at all even with all the equipment and up hill home. The pool was tiny, but super. The home suited all of us and was stocked with so many plates, utensils, cups, glasses!!! Really felt like a home. The views were amazing. Our son even ran out of batteries on the front balcony and fell asleep on the floor to the sound of the waves - he has good taste in picking that spot for a nap. We would retreat to the back balcony when the afternoon winds would pick up and get some sunshine back there. We spent many meals outdoors. We found it easy to walk to safeway/grocery and girls even went to get a mani/pedi one day....all on foot which we loved. The cafe right by the property management was very cute and we had our other family that live nearby meet up with us there. We appreciated the little collection of CDs for music while we hung out at the home and prepared our meals. We saw dolphins every day from the balcony and seals would practically swim right next to us at the beach. The water was cool, but no wet suit needed at this time of year. Not much in the way of dvds or tv service which we couldn't get working, but we were down at the beach enjoying the leftover bonfires other beach goers had abandoned so we didn't even have to start up one ourselves and the kids could get their marshmallows roasted. We loved he quaintness of autos and did head into santa cruz for surfing and little short day trips to capitola shops. Beautiful view....what a great condo."

"My family (myself, my husband, my 26 yr old son, 24 year old daughter and her boyfriend and his 6 year old son) had the pleasure of staying at this nice condo in an awesome location with a great beach for a week. Had a wonderful relaxing time on the beach and made some great memories. The condo is nicely equipped and included linens and towels and a washer and dryer. Definite plus for us!! Plenty of room for all six of us with no problem. No major complaints from any of us. Minor (very minor!) issues were the extremely hard king bed and it would have been nice to have a small/portable bbq on the balcony. Neither were deal breakers for us. Kitchen cabinets were okay - nothing that we couldn't handle for a week. Owners were great to work with. We would definitely recommend this property and I'm sure this will not be our last visit. Thanks for sharing your beautifully located home."
