  • Excellent Apartment

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment in Noe Valley. The apartment is located on the first two floors of a Victorian house and was equipped with everything our family of 6 needed. There is a back deck and garden, and the neighborhood is quiet, and only a few blocks from good eateries and botique shops. I appreciated the attention to detail by the owners, they provide a booklet with helpful neighborhood tips. Parking on the street was easy even for a family with a minivan, at most we ended up a half a block away."

  • Fantastic location and great backyard living!

"We stayed here as a home base while visiting family and friends. We loved the back studio and used it as an office and getaway! Backyard area has comfortable furniture and nice umbrellas for shade -- lots of sun in the afternoon! We walked to Whole Foods for groceries and coffee almost every day. Kitchen is updated and super clean. Nice to be in an area with no parking problems. Loved the stay and plan to be back. Thanks for the hospitality."

  • The BEST place at Stinson!

"Wow! This place is true to all the other stellar reviews -- it is so well-equipped that you could show up with your toothbrush and be happy all weekend. The whole home is well-conceived and very welcoming, in a spectacular location. The kitchen is large and very well-stocked, with equipment to cook whatever you like and plenty of chairs and place-settings to easily host all 8 guests (plus some extras for dinner). The beds are comfortable (including the Murphy bed in the garage) and bathrooms very nice. But the BEST part is the fantastic, spacious deck on the serene, gorgeous, family-friendly lagoon. The owners provide kayaks, paddle boards, a sailboat and even a rowing scull -- all right there and easy to launch. There is a large hot-tub, with a hot-water shower, looking right out on the lagoon. Day or night, it's a fabulous, peaceful view. All this plus ping-pong and a pool table and a basketball hoop! Our two 11-year old boys want to move there permanently. And our dog was welcomed too, which made the weekend even sweeter. After this stay, I will ALWAYS stay in this house on the Lagoon side. It's super-easy to access the beach from this place, while the homes on the beach don't have access to the Lagoon! If you're seeking the perfect Stinson getaway, look no further. This place is it."

  • Perfect vacation getaway!

"The Guest House in Town is one of the most perfect places we have ever stayed in, and we travel quite a bit. The loft cottage with extensive gardens and deck fulfilled our every housing need. We visited many of the birding sites in the Pt. Reyes area, and we did the best birding from our own deck! The bed is comfy, and combined with the quiet neighborhood made for a great sleep. Stunning views from the house. Only a block away from Cowgirl Creamery, and just a couple more to several dining spots. Take a short hike through the Giacomini wetlands/meadows/woods and reward yourself with a farm fresh, organic lunch or fab gelato at Marin Sun Farms. Be sure to visit Nick's Cove and Hog Island Oyster Co. -- I felt like I was in Nova Scotia, not California! Best of all, next to The Guest House in Town, is Elizabeth Hill's West Marin Food and Farm Tour -- great introduction to the area. We will definitely be back!!!!!"
