  • Perfect Noe Valley Apartment right near town and public transportation into other neighborhoods

"I am thrilled with my Las Flores 5-day rental and would rent again in a heart beat if I were to return to SF. The apartment was super clean and well taken care of. I arrived and fresh linens were on the very comfortable bed and an ample amount of towels were hanging in the bathroom. There were extra sheets for the sofa bed in the closet. I am a single woman traveling alone and I felt perfectly comfortable in this beautiful neighborhood. There is a coffee shop just at the end of the block with food and beverages for quick breakfast along with a Whole Foods just blocks away. I loved having quick access to the J Church Muni line that brought me into other parts of the city. The owners were so accommodating and nice and easy to rent from. The addition of the Clipper cards was such a bonus as well. I felt like a local during my stay and couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay in this airy and bright rental. It would be great for a couple or people traveling with children that could sleep in the pull out sofa. Thank you!"

  • STAY Here!

"Truly lovely. This house is exactly as described and is exactly as the pictures portray it to be. We enjoyed the house for 4 nights but wished for more. There were 4 adults and 4 younger children in our group. While the house is set up to sleep 6, they included an inflatable air bed which was more than adequate to sleep our group. The location could not be more perfect - set atop a small cliff, a few steps off the back porch to a very private, secluded beach. The views over the ocean are incredible and there are wrap around decks on both levels to take in all in. The kids spent every moment on the beach. The home owners provided a ton of sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. Hours were spent walking along the shore, collecting shells/stones, creating habitats for the hermit crabs we found (and then releasing them), reading books, building sand castles, etc. The water is cold but they kids didn't seem to mind wading, splashing and very fast swims. The house itself is very well appointed - we found everything we needed to prepare meals and used the grill several times. Each morning and evening were spent in the upper living room just taking in the views, listening to the surf and watching the sunset. It was gorgeous and so peaceful. We are already planning to return as aside from enjoying the house, this area of the coast offers many activities. We did go down to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz one afternoon which was a fun change of pace and also LOVED Big Basin Redwoods State Park (though it was a bit of a drive). The town of Pescadero is about 10 minutes away and has a restaurant, small grocery store and coffee shop. We also liked the coffee/pastries offered in Davenport a few miles south. Less than a half mile from the house is a state beach called Bean Hollow which was perfect for a morning run along the ocean and they also have a sandy beach. The owners are kind and easy to work with. THIS place is a true gem!"

  • Beautifully decorated, comfortable apartment

"This apt was beautiful! Robert and Alev obviously took great care in decorating it and also in supplying everything needed for a comfortable stay. Robert met us upon our arrival and gave some great advice on sites to see and where to go for eating out. The garden in the back was beautiful, but unfortunately it was too cold out while we were here to enjoy sitting out there. Would be a pretty spot to have your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail though! Parking may be a hassle if you are renting a car (we did), but if you get there after 6pm on a Friday, you won't have to move the car until 10am Monday morning! The Muni busses were everywhere, so if you didn't have a car you'd have no problem getting around. The Presidio is literally right across the street, and there's a lot to see and do there. We went to Fort Point, which was very interesting and has a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can also walk to the bridge from there if you should want to. (Just to mention - we had thought we'd rent bikes to ride over the bridge, but decided to walk it instead and were glad we did. The biking side was very busy and it looked like it would be a hassle to stop and check out the view or take pictures because of being in the way of other bikers. Walking was definitely the way to go!) After Fort Point, we lucked out and caught a food truck extravaganza in the park! (Most Sundays. Across from the Disney Museum) Food, music, beer/wine, and lots of people hangin out and havin fun! There are steps (LOTS of them) leading to an awesome view just to the left of the street this apt is on. Worth doing if you don't mind the exercise! Ask Robert or Alev for directions. If you want to have an excellent dinner out, try Meze's on Chestnut St. Great Greek food and wonderful service. We were going to go there Friday, but it was very crowded (as were most places), so we ended up going on Sunday, which was perfect. I would suggest eating at the apt. on Fridays because everywhere had long waits. Had breakfast one day at Mel's Diner. Don't bother. Overpriced and not very good. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone wanting to be in a quiet neighborhood. We also stayed in a rental in the Corona Heights/Castro area, which was much busier and had more going on, but we were glad we did both! This one was at the end of our vacation and was the perfect way to relax for the last few days."
