"This vacation spot was everything we could have asked for and Evan was a great host. He met us at the house and really took the time to show us around the property and made sure we were comfortable. He very graciously gave us two bottles of wine that were made from the grapes grown on the property. Delicious :)
The pictures showcased this property perfectly. We went for a family get together with three generations and had a fabulous time. There was no shortage of sitting areas with enough comfortable chairs for everyone. The view from The Quinta was fabulous and we spent most evenings sitting up there watching the sunset and basking in the last of the suns rays.
As the other reviewers all mentioned, it is a perfect place to relax, entertain, or just sit and enjoy watching the hummingbirds. We had a great time grilling out every night and the kitchen was more than adequate.
I totally agree with Art ... if I could have given it more stars, I would have. We hated to leave. Would love to come back again!"

"spectacular property - very kid friendly. we had 8 couples and 4 toddlers. there's an amazing area right outside the main space where the kids could play and the pool was a bit further away so you didn't have to worry about the pool. also note there are lots of umbrellas at the pool so plenty of shade. truly fantastic! plenty of space, very well equipped (all the pots and pans you could want), and just an outstanding experience. one of the prettiest properties I've ever seen!"

"Our extended family just spent a near-perfect weekend at Rancho Wikiup. Even when it was raining, there were always fun things to do. Wikiup is perfectly equipped, with toys for kids, a pool table, and a secluded hot tub. The kitchen works well for a big group. Conveniently close are stores and hiking. We held a treasure hunt mostly on the spacious grounds, and it was a blast because three teams could be looking in different places without seeing much of each other. Beds are all comfortable. This is a unique, very special place- it would be hard to find a better sport for a group getaway! We look forward to a future stay at Rancho Wikiup."

"If you want a vacation rental that feels better than home, this is your place. The house is spacious and thoughtfully laid out. It fits beautifully on the hill to take maximum advantage of the terrain and views. The house is fully stocked and nicely furnished for maximum enjoyment. We had full access to the 50 acre property for morning/evening walks and picked a few blackberries down in Icaria creek. The winemaker gave us a private wine tasting (excellent wine) and offers his wines by the bottle or case. I cannot imagine a better place to stay when visiting the wine country."
