  • The Best!!!!!

"If you want a place to stay that has it all including the greatest of owner/tour guide/host, this is the place. We stayed for a week. Katherine welcomed us like we were old friends she hadn't seen in awhile. Kind and caring drove us around the neighbourhood to point out the places of interest. The suite is spotless, my husband is still talking about the comfortable bed. Location was perfect for getting around/catching transit. A big thanks and we will surely recommend this to anyone going to San Fran. G&H"

  • Amazing Studio

"Staying at Jennifer's studio in Bernal Heights, made our stay in San Francisco awesome. The place is well set up and cozy. Jennifer is a phenomenal host. Check in is at 4, but our flight got in at 11. I told her we would just drive around eat and start exploring. But i got an email from her saying she was able to get the place cleaned ip a day before so we could get settled in early. That was very nice of her. Also coming from New York it was a 6 hour flight, my wife who was 10 weeks pregnant was craving fruit when we got to the studio, when we arrived we saw Jennifer had some bananas and english muffins for us to snack on including milk and wine in the fridge. The studio is well set up in a very hip but family oriented neighborhood. Jennifer is so amazing she has mapped out Bernal Heights with great local restaurants and attractions. Jennifer has a cooler and jaccuzi available for us. She even lets you pick lemons from her lemon tree she has growing in the yard. I would recommend this studio to any of my friends heading to SanFran. It's located outside of downtown, but that was fine for us it as downtown was only a 20min drive."

  • 155 Noe

"Beautiful property in a great location. Really spacious! We vacationed with our 5 kids, ages 4 to 19, and we hosted extended family dinners and movie nights with my sister, her husband, brother in law and 3 kids. We loved the high ceilings, charming architectural details (original woodwork! Nonfunctional but pretty fireplaces! Stained glass skylight at the top of the stairs!). Also the art on the walls was very interesting, many with a San Fran theme; loved the panoramic photo capturing the city on fire in the aftermath of the 1906 earthquake. Nice kitchen, not huge but the most cooking we did was oatmeal and fruit. Dining table sat 10. We discovered the Bi Rite grocery a mile away, Safeway and Whole Foods about a half mile away. Corner liquor store just across the street was surprisingly well stocked with essentials like soy milk, Cheerios, whole wheat bread, microwave meals (even organic vegan options!). Jumpin Java coffee house a couple doors down was my morning stop in for passable coffee, and they did have vegan breakfast sandwich options. We rented a minivan but mostly took public transportation everywhere. The crazy little garage was one of the few drawbacks to this rental...We were warned that it's small, and it wouldn't fit a "large SUV." I sent an email inquiry to be sure a regular minivan would fit, but I never got a reply...so let me tell you, it was lucky we received a Kia Sedona from Hertz, and not a Dodge Grand Caravan. The Kia barely fit, with folding one of the side mirrors down. Not only is it narrow, but then there's a 90 degree right turn a short distance in, and then a steep decline... And then you have the neighbor car to the right. If we had rented 153, there's no way our car would have fit. Backing out is definitely a 2 person job. Another negative was an off odor, dog I think. My husband's allergies were triggered a bit. Another minus was that many of the lightbulbs were out, and no replacements were to be found. Overall, a charming and spacious Victorian flat in a pretty neighborhood. As to value, better than needing 2 hotel suites, and much better opportunities for family bonding. We loved it!"

  • Perfect Spot in Noe Valley!

"We booked ten days in this apartment in June and Kathy was more than helpful throughout the entirety of our stay. Located in a beautiful landmark building in Noe Valley, the apartment has been renovated and is both spacious and filled with light. For those interested in cooking, the kitchen has new appliances and all the up-to-date equipment required. Numerous restaurants and coffee shops abound in the neighborhood and walking access to the Mission District and Bernal Heights is simple. The MUNI stop (one block) provides easy access to the rest of the city. We will definitely return."
