"We stayed in the City View Suite for five months, and had a fantastic time. The apartment is bright, clean and has all amenities we could wish for. Best of all is the balcony with the most amazing view: a great place for breakfast! Noe Valley is a very nice and friendly neighbourhood with a huge range of restaurants, a farmer´s market and a Wholefoods. Also, the weather is sunnier than most other places in San Francisco. The busier Mission and Castro are within walking distance, with bars and many more restaurants, and public transport (the MUNI) is just outside the door. Also the BART station is nearby, with connections to the airport, Oakland etc. Lee and Bob were wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome, gave us many tips about what to do, and always responded very quickly when we needed anything. We would warmly recommend a stay in the City View Suite!"

"Having lived in San Francisco 30 years ago I had long wanted to live in the Marina district. This flat made a great base for our five day visit in July 2015, and gave us a chance to enjoy the neighborhood (including a morning jog (~6 miles) from the flat out to the middle of golden gate bridge and back). It is beautifully finished, perfect for a couple. Margaret was excellent with communications, and was able to accommodate some special requests. Her flat’s kitchen is well-equipped, though we only used the kitchen for preparing breakfast (SF has too many restaurants to check out !). The patio and backyard made a relaxing environment to enjoy our breakfast and plan the day. The bath has both a large tub, and a shower with two shower heads and separate controls. As other reviewers remarked, the Marina Market (a small market, with regular items plus high quality produce and cheese) and several coffee spots and/or bakeries are close by on Chestnut. Our morning routine became croissant in the morning fresh from Le Marais Bakery with fresh fruit, and coffee (beans from Chestnut Coffee). We decided not to hassle with street parking (no rental car) and used uber, walked and/or public transit (cable cars and street cars). Thanks again, Margaret, for renting your place ! We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to make it back !"
