  • Elegant home

"What a treat to stay in this elegant home for a few days. We were a group of five having a holiday reunion and we originally chose this house because it had 3 bedrooms, a reserved parking place (if you need it and request the permit), a convenient location, and it looked good in the pictures. We were delighted when it went beyond all our expectations. It is elegantly and comfortably furnished, and the views are incredible. it will be one of the great memories of our time in San Francisco."

  • Perfect House

"We were looking for a house that could accommodate 8 family members comfortably in a robust location. We found our match in the Castro district with this home. First, the house was absolutely spotless from top to bottom. Second, there was plenty of room for our entire party - each couple and both teenagers had their own rooms and access to one of the four bathrooms –there was no arguing over who was using them. The bathrooms were well appointed with plenty of clean towels, soap and shampoo, and soft robes. Third, with my brother and I being the ‘cooks’ of the family, we were more than happy to see the kitchen well stocked with basic provisions, high-end appliances and sufficient kitchen tools to meet our discerning needs. The only thing that was really missing were sharper knives! Regardless, we were able to cook problem-free five of the six nights of our stay. Finally, the garden area was also great with a BBQ where we all took turns basking in the sun and enjoying the December SF weather. The home was very well located and within walking distance to interesting areas such as Castro, the Mission District and Haight-Ashbury. It was also a surprisingly short underground ride to the Union Square shopping district, Chinatown and the Ferry Terminal. For groceries, a Safeway and Whole Foods were close by (within a 15 minute walk) as well as a couple of convenience and liquor stores within an even shorter distance. In summary the house was everything as advertised. Sharon was great from start to finish – we could not have asked for a better host. She even helped us get a parking pass for the week. We would not hesitate to rent this house again next time we are in San Francisco – perhaps even next year!"

  • Fantastic.

"Beautiful property, favorite aspect was its less than a block away from the J train, so getting around the city was sooo easy. Also, Navin gave us some pointers and tips on where to go and how to get there. I will be back someday."

  • Great little oasis in the city!!

"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely oasis in the city! It was colder than normal for this time of year and it was so nice to have to hot tub! Kristoffer and Dan we're helpful and I loved the personal touches they added to their check-in book. We have stayed at many properties with VRBO and this one definitely lived up to our expectations. We would recommend it and would definitely stay here again! The living and dining room were roomy, the King sized bed was comfortable, and they even provided robes! We did not use the washer and dryer or the kitchen as we were only there for 2 days, but what a treat to have them available! This gem is close to public transit and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance or a short ride. I would recommend walking up Market and not 17th as it is not quite as steep with a suitcase. Thanks again Kristoffer and Dan for allowing us to stay in your home!"
