"Everything about this apartment is perfect. 6 of the best nights sleep I have ever had.
It has everything you could wish for in a holiday rental and is in a great location close to the lively and vibrant Castro and not far from the muni either.
We would highly recommend Blush on Castro street, great wines, fab atmosphere and some fantastic live music.
We will be back soon!"

"Very happy with the choice of housing. Excellent communicate during the booking process, before arrival, during the stay and afterward. Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful garden for relaxing, eating meals and a little napping. Generously supplied amenities. The apartment is very well maintained. Amazingly quiet - it was like being in the country. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Super choice. I have already booked a month for next year!"

"Overall just a really wonderful property. Alan was always available for our needs and was happy to help. Dangerously close to Tartine and Bi- Rite, just where you want to be in in this city. I think I gained 5 pounds! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped to enjoy cooking in. The shower was roomy and had good water pressure. It was fun to be right next door to Dolores Park and we were able to walk to the Mission District, Hayes Valley, the Castro, Noe Valley and Lower Haight. Muni's right outside the door and Bart was just a short walk. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and will return on another visit."

"My stay at Interlude made my first visit to San Francisco one of the most memorable trips I've made. I have used VRBO for Maine and San Diego and was pleased with both locations but the Interlude was my favorite. The flat well appointed and Barbara was most welcoming. I had an injured arm and she carried my largest piece of luggage upstairs for me while wearing a dress and heels. She gave me a quick tour of the property and let me know I could contact her with any questions.
The apartment consists of a fully furnished kitchen with a gas stove, plenty of storage for groceries if you are so inclined, and, although I elected not to prepare meals, had I chosen to do so everything I would have needed was furnished.
The bedroom has a very comfortable bed with a down comforter and pillows. The bed linens were exceptional quality and I had the choice to change from down to fiberfill for the bedding. The closet had plenty of hangers and storage space. I over packed, a tendency of mine, but there was ample space to hang everything I brought for a seven day stay.
The living room was comfortable as well with a sofa and two upholstered chairs. I tried all of them and they as comfortable as those I have at home. The floors are hardwood but rugs run throughout the entry, hallway, and living room. The bay window in the living area was perfect. All the windows were functional and I enjoyed the view of the street and neighboring homes. There is an office space off the living room that I used daily with the laptop to post pictures about the trip. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect and adequate for the uploads.
Finally, the bathroom was well appointed with a storage cabinet above the sink and a deep tub with shower perfect for a warm, soaking bath after a day of meandering the hills of San Francisco. The bath linens were five star quality.
The Interlude is about a six to eight minute walk from the Castro underground station or the Muni stop which is across the street from the underground. I purchased a Muni pass for the week at the Walgreen's on the corner of 18th and Castro for $38 and was able to ride all week on the underground, cable cars, and busses. It was convenient and affordable.
About three blocks down 18th street is Mollie's Market and I stopped there almost daily for fresh fruit, cold beverages, and bakery items. You will not regret a stay at the Interlude. If I return it will be first place I check."
