"The apartment was spacious, well decorated, and we really enjoyed having the private patio/garden area in front of the house. The location was wonderful - we did not even use our car while we were there. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would stay at the studio again! My only suggestion is that the linens and rugs need to be replaced. The apartment itself was quite clean, but the rugs and sheets were VERY stained and worn out (There was blood on the bathmat, makeup on the sheets, and the area rug was filthy)."

"We really enjoyed staying at this “home away from home”, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and relatives visiting San Francisco. The location is a short walk to the Market Street streetcar, which takes one right down to the Embarcadero. We didn’t need to rent a car while visiting San Francisco.
Also several amenities are nearby: Mollie Stone’s grocery store, Walgreens’s pharmacy, Bank of America and other shops and neighbourhood restaurants.
The neighbourhood was quiet at night.
This apartment is located on the third floor and is very comfortable. Although the daytime weather was warm for July, we were able to open the windows to allow a cool evening cross breeze. It is equipped with everything one needs; we were able to cook our own breakfasts and suppers, and pack lunches (for our visit to Alcatraz). The quality of appliances and furnishings was excellent. We could really relax and unwind there after a busy day of sightseeing and walking.
If we return to San Francisco, we would like to stay at this location again!"

"We were looking for a house that could accommodate 8 family members comfortably in a robust location. We found our match in the Castro district with this home. First, the house was absolutely spotless from top to bottom. Second, there was plenty of room for our entire party - each couple and both teenagers had their own rooms and access to one of the four bathrooms –there was no arguing over who was using them. The bathrooms were well appointed with plenty of clean towels, soap and shampoo, and soft robes. Third, with my brother and I being the ‘cooks’ of the family, we were more than happy to see the kitchen well stocked with basic provisions, high-end appliances and sufficient kitchen tools to meet our discerning needs. The only thing that was really missing were sharper knives! Regardless, we were able to cook problem-free five of the six nights of our stay. Finally, the garden area was also great with a BBQ where we all took turns basking in the sun and enjoying the December SF weather.
The home was very well located and within walking distance to interesting areas such as Castro, the Mission District and Haight-Ashbury. It was also a surprisingly short underground ride to the Union Square shopping district, Chinatown and the Ferry Terminal. For groceries, a Safeway and Whole Foods were close by (within a 15 minute walk) as well as a couple of convenience and liquor stores within an even shorter distance.
In summary the house was everything as advertised. Sharon was great from start to finish – we could not have asked for a better host. She even helped us get a parking pass for the week. We would not hesitate to rent this house again next time we are in San Francisco – perhaps even next year!"
