"Did not touch the car for three days - public transport right on the doorstep. The apartment was just as described, with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Felt so at home. Loved the little touch of fresh fruit and cheese as a welcome. We were concerned on arrival about the renovations taking place next door, but the builders were considerate of guests, so not a problem. Local information from the owners was extremely useful. Great communication, and very easy to book. One request would be for some storage/drawers in second bedroom. Would highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!"Guest: Kate Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 15, 2014View listing
"I am totally depressed this morning as I am writing this review from my cubicle in crisp East Coast weather wishing I was still there! We stayed there for a family vacation/marriage celebration and it was perfect! Especially with a toddler. The backyard was the perfect place for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning and star gazing at night! We felt perfectly at home and enjoyed every minute. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Any questions or concerns we had were answered in an instant during our stay. Navin was excellent! We can't wait to come back. Go Giants!"Guest: Lauren F. "My wife and I stayed here and loved it! The location makes it very easy to get almost anywhere. Castro street is just down the road and it made getting to places so easy. We stayed in Portrero Hill two years ago and while nice, preferred this location. The flat is nice and comfortable. At times we would spend the entire day with windows open just reading and relaxing. It really was wonderful. I'm an avid runner and found this location to be a great central hub to go on runs and explore a bit given how close we were to many landmarks. One side note, some may complain about parking, but really it was not a challenge at all. If you are okay with walking just a bit you'll have no trouble. Just mind the street signs and parking will be a distant memory. We stayed for 7 days and never had a problem with parking. This includes during the pride parade that was taking place upon our arrival. You really can't miss with this spot as the hosts are very prompt and gracious. We would most definitely consider staying here again."Guest: Jeff J. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 19, 2014View listing
"I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 children. We only ate breakfast here but my husband did cook eggs and used some of the supplies to make hot chocolate. We weren't informed that it was Gay Pride weekend and that the street would be closed down for a huge block party. We were surprised when we got off the metro that was a block and a half away to find a huge party and some naked men. Even though the property is set back behind the building on the main street the music was blaring. I'm not sure when it finally got quiet but we all had a hard time falling asleep due to the music. We had to sign house rules saying we would be quiet. We did have a car since we were travelling all around CA and were able to find a parking space a couple blocks away on Noe St. We were there over the weekend so it was fine. We used public transportation to get around the city and it was a bit confusing. It would have been nice to have some brochures of some activities. It would have been especially helpful to have a MUNI, public transportation, maps. We went to the wharf, Blue and Gold boat tour called the Rock, walked on the Golden Gate Bridge and went along the coast to get to the airport from Lands End where we had great views of the GG bridge. I wish we would have had more time to go to the beach. The place was at a good location but not for the weekend we came."Guest: Kristy R.
